Tim Kerr set a goal of 1000 season tickets for next season for the Surge, saying that they didn't HAVE to reach 1000 to keep the team afloat. The number they HAVE to reach, we now hear, is 700. They're currently at 570 with a deadline of next Friday, but they still have 125 STHs from last season they haven't heard back from...
As of May 4, we have taken deposits on 611 season tickets. That is an encouraging number and is a testament to your hard work and dedication in helping our staff build our fan base. But as we have previously said, in order to feel comfortable moving ahead into a new season, we need 700 season ticket deposits by the time we have to notify the league of our intentions. That date is Tuesday, May 15 and we would like to have the 700 deposits in place by Friday, May 11.
Thanks for that... they seem to be inching closer, I think they'll get that 700 by the end of the week. If they're at 690something I hope Kerr goes ahead with it
