This is what happens when you don't show up. I never want to see the Kings lose, but this may be good in a couple ways. First off, they get brought back down a little. They realize they gotta play hard every shift to win in the playoffs. Secondly, I have confidence that Sutter can handle the brutal display we saw.

This effort just pissed me off, I'll start getting nervous is they lose the next game.

If only we had a better PP.

Oh well, lets move on and finish this series.

Hey, at least we brought some joy into some Cancuks fans lives for a day! It so damn funny seeing how bitter some of them are on the main boards.

No kidding. As soon as it looked like the Kings wouldn't come back, Canucks fans started crawling out from under rocks.

Though now they can't argue that they're a good team and didn't choke because they were the only one to win a game from the Kings. I guess that's a silver lining.

Eh, still think we could have won this one. Phoenix got every single bounce they needed and we got none of them, could have easily been 4-1 for LA. We outplayed them for the most part. We should be able to close this out next game as our road game is almost always so much better than our home games.

Give credit where credit is due. Phoenix was better and had a little bit of luck, but still well deserved. I expect the Kings to play much better on the road and a win (losing could be a disaster ). They are road warriors for a good reason.

Didn't like the play of either team personally, coyotes got the breaks today. Mike Smith was the best player on the ice. Kings need a better effort Tuesday to finish it off which I'm sure they will; hopefully they learnt their lesson today

Other then the fact that the Kings lost I was more upset/disappointed at their compete level this afternoon. They got a lot of shots but the energy just wasn't there today..

Lulz, oh poor Canucks fan. They should throw a parade because this is the only bit of excitement they'll have going for some time.

Anyway. Had a feeling that this game wouldn't be a good one for us. Think this is the best thing for the long run. Still see us pulling it off in game five with a fiery squad. Here is the adversity all the other fans were begging for!

To the next game! (And we get less rest, which is a good thing.)

I think it was home pressure. Atleast we raised coyote fans hopes just to crush it game 5, vancouver style.

P.S. Quick needs to step his game up.

Yup, just a no-show. This was their poorest game of the playoffs, so it's an anomaly. Heck, they played better in the Vancouver series game 4 and lost.

So yeah. Put this behind and beat 'em at home and have the Campbell rolled out in front of their fans. Win-win.

Kings had their chances to score, but weren't as quick or as strong as the Coyotes. The lack of a PP also finally caught up to them.

Better team overall won the game. Need more desperation in Game 5.

Mike Smith, as much as it pains me to say it, is the best player on either team this series.

The Kings skaters are clearly better than the Coyotes skaters, and Smith is the only reason this series didn't just end in a sweep.

That's OK, the Kings still have the road-ice advantage heading into Game 5.

Really sucks we couldn't finish it off at home, would've been a treat for the fans. But I'm happy we lost today because we needed a reality check, can't cruise into the finals without any adversity, this is good and we'll see what this team is made of next game! Let's finish this off Tuesday

Awful is too modest. He got better in the 3rd.. sorta. But he played like shize the whole game. it was disgusting. He needs to chill out, and get off his stomach and not overplay.

Kings are undeafeated on the road. They for some reason play much better on the road than at home

Kings didn't look "bad" today, they had some good quality chances. They just couldn't bury their chances, PHX did a good job boxing out and Mike Smith was putting on a clinic.
