I hear you. Not just them, the breakdowns have been frequent and costly and the Caps can't get out of their zone to save their lives. Still hoping they pull it together with a big 3rd period.

Beating a heavily favored team in the first round in a gritty hard earned series has that subconscious impact to an extent.

At this point i think Orlov is just not going to play in these playoffs.

If Wideman and Schultz haven't pushed themselves out of the lineup already, Dale will never scratch one of them.

They can't get any worse.

I would 100% prefer to lose with Orlov than those nincompoops, chances are we wouldn't lose with Orlov though and the fact he is a threat at the other end and his beast shooting causes so many second chance plays is a huge plus.

Marian Gaborik goal. Holtby needs to check BOTH linesmen to see if icing is on?

Sorry. That hit has me in a bad mood. I didn't like it when Bourque put a cheapy on Nicky, and I don't like the Captain of my favorite team pulling the same crap in the middle of a playoff game.

Call me whatever names you like, but when it comes to cheap shots I am at least consistent.

Johansson could also use a seat. It's a minor miracle when he wins a one-on-one battle.

Classy move by Bickel there, jamming the butt end of his stuck into Knoobs' head.

Yup. Different parts of the ice. Different situations on the ice. But same intent, IMO. Principal point of contact was the head, and it was premeditated.
