Icing is ****ing irrelevant because Anisimov got the puck first. It's a live play until Wideman wins the footrace no matter what gestures the linesman makes.

Expecting Holtby to beat Gaborik unchecked in the slot remains stupid.

They also called the goal line, the icing line, when discussing the play

Seriously I wonder if you are a sheep in wolf's clothing. Never seen you argue for the Caps.

Call me whatever names you like, but when it comes to cheap shots I am at least consistent.
Have you got money on the series?

Principal point of contact was the shoulder. Both players going for the hit, if Ovechkin does not jump he gets obliterated. Charging penalty sufficient.

I know you're trying to score points by looking "impartial" but you're just coming off as clueless. It's funny how desperate you are for this hit to be worse than it actually is.

Haha, yeah no. He absolutely left his feet. Principal point of contact was not the head.

It's quite possibly the dumbest thing I've read all week.

Even Rangers fans aren't being this obtuse about it.

Really? Its clear you don't pay attention to what I've submitted on here in the past. Not surprised, my wife and kids ignore me, and I'm sure they aren't the only ones. Anyway, I have been anything but always negative about the Caps.

I'm still nauseated by the image of Wideman gliding back, watching his man get the puck.

We did it - beat the Dman stepping up every damn time in center. Semin flipped it high over the Dman - right to Nick for a breakaway

I am not desperate, just pissed OV would do it. Its not like he has never hit someone like that before. I would rather the penalty in game would be it. But I don't think it will be it, and if gets suspended he deserves it, IMO.

Its funny though. I stay out of the DFH *****ing and complaining contest. I also stayed out of the BB *****ing and complaining contest. I come out strong on a hit I feel was dirty and now I am labeled as someone who is always negative towards the Caps?

Call me dumb and clueless all you like, but its clear I am not alone on this board.

True, not always but often. I haven't figured out who you are rooting for either.
