Nice! I didn't realize Emelin was playing (thought he was injured). Looking forward to this.

You underrate Norway, and for Russia blow-outs are not so usual at Worlds lately. I would actually expect a closer game, smth like 4-2.

This should be an easy victory, no disrespect for Norway, but we will improve with each game.

Lineup news:

Volden is confirmed to be starting.

Tommy Kristiansen is in for Norway as MRO is scratched.

Russia is starting Varlamov again.

Kulyomin has been moved to the Datsyuk-Kuznetsov unit.

Why? Pretty resonable if you ask me. It's a long championship, and Norway need Haugen fresh and ready for the game against CZE on monday. The chance for an upset there is bigger than vs Russia.

I see ur point, but Volden hasnt been good in the SM leage (he ended up with 87% or something) and now he is supposed to stop Russia....

Volden is coming straight from his playoff-run with Jokipojat, on loan from Espoo Blues. 12 games, 1.62 GAA and a SVS% of 95.
