I hope that single goal so far won't go up in Latvia's players heads

I hope that the goal that wasn't scored on an empty net won't turn out to be the [potentially] deciding one. :/

Unlucky Sirokovs. Kicked the puck ahead with one skate and not knowingly stopped it with the other skate.

Don't worry that's why we have Ted Nolan.

They should start the second period like the game had just started. The game ends when it ends and until that moment you play. Something they often forget.

Yesterday it didn't help. After first goal our players became sloppy.

I don't agree. Two weak penalties broke us and then we became sloppy.

Why does the IIHF go out and get the worst commentators available? This guy can barely speak English, and goes off on tangents more than he comments on the game itself. The other commentator seems to be a football commentator relegated to doing hockey. Is it honestly that hard to find a decent broadcaster?

EDIT: Oh Yeah! 2-0

If Miķelis Rēdlihs scores, it means something is done right.

2:0 LAT, so far.

I'd love to have Vasiļjevs instead of Širokovs. Imagine Herberts playing on the same line with Daugava - that would've been great.

Yes, because PP's are for losers.
