Karlskrona promoted; Borås defends AS berth

Karlskrona and Borås will play in Allsvenskan 12/13. Sundsvall down to Division 1.

Borås HC's economy still Greek-esque? Would be unfortunate to have another summer like last years with uncertainty regarding the licence.

Feels good with Karlskrona going up, it makes the ÖIK loss against them even more ok. Sundsvall going down is always nice, no matter the sport.

Sigh. Sundsvall going down is sad, but I guess it has been something that should've happened a few years earlier. They've been dreadful. Norrland will suffer though.

Nice to see that my dad's home town Karlskrona is finally having some sporting success.

Don't they have a highly regarded teenage defenceman?

Julius Bergman?

It'll be interesting to follow this kid in Allsvenskan at age 16/17.

Looks like Borås was demoted (Economy) Asplöven to play in Allsvenskan.

Really? That's a shame for Boras. I sure hope that Asploven builds a better arena now. I mean they have to, right?

They are building one iirc.

And yay for Asplöven, I'm very happy for them if they get a spot in Allsvenskan.

I sure hope they are. Played in Arena Polarica last season, and there's no way that arena can be approved for play in AS.

Of course it's fun for the club, facing teams like Djurgarden, Malmo, Leksand etc. But the traveling to away games will cost a quite bit I guess.

Feels like one team falls every year in HA because of money reasons.
