The 'ol half ass GDT was past due. Do we see pride or curling up into a fetal position? I won't be surprised with either.

Its good to be true to our roots. I'm glad you did this.

I know the Blues are done, but there is a part of me that keeps concocting scenarios where they come back and win the series.

I have never been a fan of giving up on my team but they have given up in the series. I haven't given up on them in the 25 years I have been a Blues fan and I am not going to start now.

That said, they are playing a maximum of one period a game and Elliot has played terrible. If they play the way they did that one period a game for the entirety of the game, we could look at an interesting series but they may be too far in the hole now.

Anyway, good luck boys, I hope we can win a few and at least make it interesting.

I'm always surprised by the amount of disappointment on this board. Before this season began, most of us would have been ecstatic about a 2nd round exit. I realize that expectations change based on how successful a season they had, but still. This team exceeded everyone's expectations for this season. This was a great season, even if they get swept by the Kings.

most people get frustrated when their teams' lose, especially this way

if people look back on it a week after they are eliminated, probably won't be as harsh

Nucks fan here cheering for you guys. (I know that feel, bros.) Anyone got a stream for this game? I'm hospitalized and watching it with a throng of old smelly people drinking chicken broth doesn't sound that fun.

It's not a 2nd round exit that is disappointing, it's the way in which it's unfolding.

I'm disappointed because we've seen the Blues play much better than this throughout the season. I'm disappointed that there's the possibility of a sweep, that Halak is injured, etc.

But I'm not disappointed at this season at all. I don't think that this past week takes away from what they did this season, which may be the wrong attitude to have but oh well. I never would've expected them to win the Central and finish second in the west. And it's not like they won an "easy" division either, 4 teams in the Central had 100 pts. At the beginning of the season I was just hoping they could squeak into the playoffs. Some people had the Blues finishing with a lottery pick. Blues fans knew they had the potential to be a better team and they were that better team this year. This season was really fun to watch. If it does end today, I'm hoping they take the experience they've gained and build upon it for next season.

yeah, I`ll watch back at this season and I see a HUGH success! it was such a great year to be a fan of this team, these boys

I`m just disappointed by the last week and how things worked out...but you need more than just a good hockey team to win the cup you also need lots of luck...obviously we don`t have it at the moment, its just not "the year"
