They are the most underrated team left in the playoffs. They are floating under the radar but they certainly have the talent to win it all. Everyone talks how LA did in the last bit of the regular season. Jersey finished the season 8-1-1 and they have continued to be on fire ever since.

I wouldn't be surprised either, considering they are one of seven teams left. I think they have a better chance than then Caps.

I'll admit it. Devils should not have survived the Panthers series. Marty stood on his head in the first OT game 7 and they got a reprieve. Now they look like worldbeaters.

I think they are the most balanced team in the Eastern Conference.

IF the Devils win, Brodeur will almost certainly retire.

Who the hell would've predicted a possible Devils - Kings Final? Anyone who says they did, is either a liar or has a crystal ball.

Still other options though... we'll see.

I had a feeling about them if they got past the Panthers. Low and behold, almost in the Conference Finals.

Broduer is not playing good enough. After Philly they are gonna have to face goalie based teams, and even if they keep up thier high shot count goals will be hard to get, and who knows how many Marty can give up when people like gaborik are given and oppourtunity

Well, if they can knock off the Flyers and look that good doing it, then yeah, I have to say NJ can definitely win the cup.

What a swan song that would be for Brodeur. I have to imagine he'd feel a lot of pressure to retire after that.

I thought the Devils would get to the conference finals, but they are playing out of their minds right now. Still would be surprised if they beat Jon Quick and the LA Kings.

Brodeur just has to be consistent tbh. He's had his on/off nights.

True, I thought Philly would win the series. I just thought that the Devils deserve some praise here as it has all been LA this LA that Quick Quick LA Brown LA etc
The Devils also have been playing well.

I think PHX is the most underrated, but yes I think they have a solid shot at making the finals. Still think the Kings are the team to beat currently. We often talk about solid defense + goaltending vs. potent offense when comparing various contenders, but I think LA is the only team with potent offense, defense, and goaltending. Rangers have D + tending, Flyers are all offense, Caps are D and streaky offense with some solid but non-veteran tending, PHX is D and tending but weak offense, etc.

I would say of the teams left:

1) Kings
2) NJ
3) NYR
4) PHX
5) PHI / NSH / WSH

They'll sweep the Rags/Caps, then they'll sweep LA/PHX. Just hand them the Cup.

Damn, you know the playoff teams left suck when NJ is getting the most attention in the East.
