I'm a big Ted Nolan fan, but don't think it would play well with the disfunctional setup above him. Larry Robinson would be an excellent coach, but i doubt we would be able to convince him

Ted Nolan just isn't going to happen, especially here. He'd be on my list but no way Bowman goes down that road.

This is probably true. Sad, but true. I got to meet Ted Nolan briefly when he spoke to a group of 1st Nations' leaders here and he is just rock solid.

Q is under contract... and Marc Crawford seems to be the frontrunner for the Habs job

Anybody that can implement an actual system (instead of the current free-flowing game which is garbage) and holds the players accountable for their actions (or lack of action)...

Who was that guy they brought in to work on the PP? I bet he's the next head coach. His name escapes me at the moment.

No way anyone goes down that road

Both times Nolan was NHL Head Coach he caused nothing but trouble with front office

He wants absolute power and isn't well liked in NHL community ,, He also fights with his star players as well

Ted Nolan could have been a great coach if he could have kept his ego in check ,, He failed miserably both his times in NHL because of his constant desire to alienate management/players

Hire Greg Cronin away from the Leafs...

This man will be the hot commodity within 2 years if someone gives him a chance. tired of these retread coaches, get some new blood in and run with them. Cronin is a winner and does a lot with a little....

he would be my pick.
