Schlemko has really looked a step or two behind the playoff pace in the games he has played. I'm sure all three will be a little rusty with getting no, or very little, playing time in the playoffs so far so I guess it doesn't really matter which one is inserted into the lineup. One thing I can say for certain is I love having all three of them available if needed.
Either Stone or Summers would be perfectly fine with me. I'm just tired of seeing Schlemko getting caught flat-footed in the neutral zone as the other team flies past him.

Exactly why I say that Schlemko looks a step or 2 behind the play. I don't think he's a bad defensemen. I think he was still catching up to the play in the regular season after his injury but now that were in full playoff mode, and he hasn't played a whole lot, he's not up to the speed of the game.

Yeah, it's really too bad about his injury, because after frequently cursing his name last season, I was starting to become a fan.

I hope for his sake he's able to get back to where he was - even if it's not with the Yotes, but I don't think the playoffs is the time to try to get him there.

Good thing I'm leaving this Saturday.

Just kidding, Waffle.

Back on topic...I'm really hoping the floodgates open for this one. Get some early goals and let the good times roll.

Bring it on home boys! Finish off the Preds and do the humane thing. Put them out of their misery, rather than prolong the suffering!

Agreed. I think Summers is the closest of the three to Klesla so would slot in better. If it was Yandle or OEL, Schlemko would make more sense. Stone's done well, he could handle going in tonight.

But Summers for his leadership, shotblocking and intensity.

Stone plays on the right side so Id think it will be Schlemko or Summers unless they move Aucoin or someone over to the left side.

Stuff where people have to call in is the worst. They should have a camera crew at the arena and start something where people have to sit on a block of ice or something (kind of like the suns dribbling marathon for seats, except gluteus maximus hypothermia is involved)...

I have been convinced to want stone in for rusty. Just worried about the rook factor in the case of a big play

Stone has been awesome this year.

Stone > post-injury Schlemko

Schlemko has an epic beard though. It'd look great in a celebration dog pile on Smitty. Just sayin'...

There is a lot of distraction surrounding this game. I wish that Bettman wasn’t going to be here making his announcement tonight. The team needs to focus to what they can do on the ice, but with Klesla out and the commish in town that may prove difficult. At least for us fans! Plus I would think the Russians will be back in the lineup for Nashville tonight. Ok enough from me; let’s hope to see some handshakes tonight…LET’S GO COYOTES!!!!

I really hope the series ends tonight. The more time spent thinking of ways to cool off the Kings, the better.

Just got my tickets, bringing a work buddy along. He roots for detroit, but since we ousted the hawks, he's firmly in our camp tonight

Agreed. Sorry, but I hate everything L.A. and that goes back to the Suns and Lakers playoff series and the Dogders/Diamondbacks. It's a friendly hate of course I've long believed that the Pacific is one of the toughest divisions in the league. It would be fun, that's for sure.

Schlemko's the right choice. More of a known quantity compared to Stone, and more playoff experience. He also seems a bit more mobile, a bit better with the puck, but that's secondary to the familiarity and experience issue.
