Shero loves to add veteran players. That's why brought Billy G, Sullivan, BJ, Boucher, Sydor in the past.

Vehanen could be the same veteran help as Johnson in 2010-11 season.

If Shero could sign to a one or two year contract, then I'd be content.

Whether its Vehanen or not...Brent Johnson needs to be forced into retirement and Thiessen needs to be regulated to the AHL for the remainder of his career.

Would be less likely. You have already got Viktor Fasth as a backup?

Nope. The previous article which involved Boston giving up on him specifically said that of the 29 teams left it isn't Anaheim.

You can't come over from Europe to the NHL and expect to be a starter straight away, I can only see that happening if he signs with Tampa or Columbus.

Wouldn't mind the Rangers grabbing him if they don't want to re-sign Biron, I don't want Chad Johnson anywhere near a healthy roster. Biron wasn't great this season but he's a good locker room guy and they all seem to love him.

Well if Boston gave up on him then, technically, Anaheim would be part of the other 29 teams.

This guy played one season for my defunct local team called Viking (Stavanger, Norway)

[The level is similar to Sweedish "AllSvenskan"]

He was 18 and at that time Viking was one of the owrst teams in Norway.

He made impressive .88 SV% while having GAA on insane 4.88..

One game Viking played against Vålerenga (That was the best team by far in Norway at that time) And Viking managed to play it 5-5 with Vålerenga outshooting Viking with something like

75 to 15 shots..

We could already then see a star was rising.

I've heard rumours that it could be Detroit. So yesterday he possibly played against his teammate. And he was the better of the goalies.

Wonder if Vancouver could be one of those teams???? If something is done with Luongo or Schneider, he'd be a decent risk worth taking if Canucks brass feels Lack is not ready.

We probably do, but Fasth hasn't signed with us, yet.
