I am sorry if this has been asked before but...how do I move my license to another computer? It looks like SIgames doesn't have the game for download anymore either..
so the question is where to download the game and the patches and then how to enable my license?

I like the UK teams since I have trouble with Euro names.
Download it, install it and purchase it. Then, google "EHM 07 update", go to EHMtheblueline, which will be the top hit, download the roster update and install it as per the supplied instructions.
Modern times are highly overrated in this game anyways. After a number of years everybody will be regens and most people seem to have trouble recognizing them. Plus I personally like when the league is full of regens because its a new era but you can still make cool lines with todays players(ie. Spezza centering Iginla, or Crobsy and Ovi etc. all regens of course). Or when your players get really good and you want to figure out who they are and realize you got a team of all-stars.
Never had this happen before, Ryan Murphy is playing in his rookie year for me and it's also the final year of his entry level contract. He's putting up decent numbers and an average rating of 7.65. I go to offer him a new contract and he's demanding $35 mil on a 3 year deal. What the hell do I do other than let him go or trade him? Ridiculous!

I'd offer him the minimum necessary for his Qualifying Offer, then try going up until he signs or until he goes RFA. Had some bugs like that with Markov wanting to resign for over 10 M$ a year. He goes to UFA and ask for 2 M$

I've also found that waiting until July 1st helps and they'll sign for a lot less, but there's a bug in the game where usually a couple days into free agency you'll get an email saying their rights as an unsigned draft choice have expired and all of a sudden they're ufa. It's total bs. Happened to me last season with Jeff Skinner and it'll probably happen with Murphy as well.

Not always, but sometimes if you switch a dude's status to something higher (I had this with the Devils file I had where Markov wanted the max but didn't wanna negotiate as a core player, so I switched him to key and then he actually took less than what he wanted) it will fix it.
Perhaps Murphy is still rated as a hot prospect but if you switched him to core, the price might come down. If not, offer him enough to qualify him at max years and then at least he will be RFA when his contract expires.

That's maybe not a bug. Did you offer enough to qualify them before July 1st? Look at their information screen and check to see if it says "needs a qualifying offer" or if it says "Restricted free agent" in the Expires column.

I think it is a bug because it happens alot to me only in the first 2 years of starting a new game
Also, with team finances, don't worry about it. The board will give you more money if yours keeps dipping.
yup i qualify all of them, it only happens in the first 2 years of a new game.
for the finances I know the board gives me money I was just wondering if there was anything that can be done to get more income. It just my pet peeve seeing my profit in the negative when im winning cups
