Currently playing as the New Jersey Devils, in the middle of the 2010-2011 season.
I've got a bunch of injuries but still a 5th seed in the East in mid January. I picked up Pavel Datsyuk as a free agent last year, my team had missed the playoffs two years in a row and needed a shake up. Here are my current lines
I always scout players eligible for draft from exotic countries, and if no good potential guys are available, I burn my low end draft picks on them if they have good mentals and passable technicals. I have currently two Spaniards, two Japanese, a Mexican and a Dutch in the system, in addition to Mr. Shaka Zulu here.
Anywhere I can get Winskin?? I really want to download it, and I'm on a Mac.
Meant to type WineSkin*
Just got past the 2010 trade deadline in my Islanders franchise. I made the playoffs in 2009, and things are looking even better now.

Already posted this at ehm but would like to share here. My Bridgeport team is steamrolling the AHL with a 32-0 record. (Thank you Red_Playm0ver Tactic!) Anyway i wanted to share this blowout game I just had against Lowell. This game featured a full scale 6x6 linebrawl as well, hence my goalie Jason Sikora (Hasek Regen) getting thrown out. Also my Cam Neely regen Karl Whitfield was injured in period one. He has 65 points in 32 games at the moment. Hopefully he isn't out long. Im using Lidas 3.1 and Ryan Strome's 6 points is a career high. (He's terrible in this database) Check out all those 10 ratings!
You don't. You just individually scout draft-eligible players from those countries.
You are the one that played EHM all through 2203 season or smth like that ? Do you still have that file ? I would like to see Stanley Cup champions in that 200 years time

Ah, I mixed you then with someone else. I didn't think that you upload it ( although it would be cool), I thought if you could take a screenshoot of all SC winners and put image here

I am currently in 2009/2010. season with Avalanche. I have only 17 players on roster, because I have all-star almost lineup so, no cap space for more players In first three seasons I got knocked out of playoffs in first round twice and once in second round. Second and third season I finished first in the West. Slowly I will get rid of most expensive contracts and put in youngsters, mostly from 2009. draft class. I had four round picks at that draft, thanks to trading Duchene and Stastny and getting picks in return.
So,
#9 overall
Latvian Mihalis Vodolazhskis. Plays for Dynamo Riga. Similiar player Nicklas Backstrom, but changed to David Bolland (more talented version) Hopefully he will be Latvian Backstrom.
#11 overall
Czech defender Ondrej Vrba. Scout reports says that he is skilled DD, more talented version of Ladislav Smid.
#25 overall
Polish forward, Adrian Kostecki, scout report : first they said he is more talented version of Nathan Horton, now switched to more talented Jeffrey (spell?) Lupul. Could be Czerkawski regen ?
#26 overall
Boček Korim, Czech defender, scouts says that he is poor man Joni Pitkanen.
#33 overall
Finnish defender, Jesse Lammassaari.
#38 overall
Skilled Swedish DD, George Engman
Those are, or should be, high-end prospects from 2009. draft. I need advice from more experienced players (I am not new in EHM, but mostly played Euro leagues, where prospects and their develop doesn't play such big role) what I should do with those prospects that plays in Europe ? Should I give them one more year in Europe and then sign them to play in AHL for season or two, or should I sign them for AHL prior to 10/11 season ?
Generally, I like to give them at least a year - the only thing that's worrisome is that in pro European leagues (as you're aware) young players play the fourth line while the veterans play the good minutes (just speaking generally)...I worry about the development of my prospects if they're playing 6:21 per night for HV71, you know? But those look like quality guys that will get quality minutes, so you might not have much to worry about.
Another tip that sometimes works is drafting a European, sign him just outside of the transfer window (so it doesn't take place until the next year) and then a major junior team will draft him in the Import draft and you can send him there where he'll get big ice time.
Of course, AHL isn't bad either in my experience. I just try to keep 18 year olds from playing there if I can.
I'm not very good playing with Salary Cap, so i used the 2009/2010 rosters with the Cap off, but... I try to get players who I know are good, but in the game they aren't as good so... I'm not very good
Im gonna practice playing without player names, maybe in the OHL or something
