Niagara is going into a rebuild, wouldn't be surprised if they traded Dougie Hamilton as well.

Well then why wait to deal Ritchie? What if he gets hurt? He is known to be injury prone? Makes no sence..

Trying to maximize an asset. I think it happens before the start of the year, but its still not a gaurintee.

I kind of hope it happens, Reid has spent a large price on Findlay/Menard already.. Might as well try to compete now this season.

If the Petes don't get Ritchie I'd like them to just pick up more Grit. Sutch on the third line would be nice.

Menard92-Quine93-Ritchie95

Lorentz93-Findlay92-Nosad95

Tanus95-Pierog94-Sutch92

Betzold95-Cornel96-Mathers93

Tons of options out there Tigers... He has to compete this year. He has to look to improve right now.

Shoenmakers, Sefton, Boucher, DeMelo, Athanasiou are names that we could be interested in.

I would have to agree 100% with you on this. There are enough good names and some like AA that you know are very likely to me moving on that the time has come to throw out more fishing lines.

I know only AA is on the market, wouldnt hurt to inquire about a Shoenmakers or Boucher though. Both teams need to rebuild.

OHL is the single biggest jump a player can make at that age. No better or stronger league out there.

I 100% agree with you, I just find it promising that he put up decent offensive numbers for Finland at the U-18.

a chlpa would be good for things like making sure fighting stays in the game but this is an amateur development league its gonna wreck the league. its all money humgry lawyers and agents there not loking out for the players.

Anybody know where Stefano plans on playing next season? Also talk of a kid from Cobourg (Ulett, rele big kid) being possibly considered for a 13/14th forward spot.

peterborough is looking ok this year finish anyware from 5th -4th conference wise will be an over 500 team anywhere from 5-7 games over im predicting . will battle for the east division with oshawa and i think if reid makes another move upfront it puts us better then oshawa plus we have a promising young goaltender who should selitify the crease.
so we should be good but it unfortunately will not affect attendance just too many years of subpar teams management and coaching. be prepared too shell out more money for the good seats they raised ticket prices again. the only thing they did was create a community living price bring back student pricing and lower nose bleeds or greys too 10 bucks the good seats went up in price.

will reid make a move the week of training camp. he could because it wont effect chemistry because its training camp not the season. but im guessing reid will feed us coolaid like he did lastyear and if we finish ninth he will blame something on it.

They will be much better this season then last that's for sure! Lot of good depth forwards and some very solid Defenceman in Koekkoek, Seymour and Ceresnak.

Goaltending may be the biggest issue.

I predict the Petes finish in the top half of the Eastern Conference.

My question is why have so many star players want out of Peterborough, the latest Puempel??? The Petes used to be such a solid franchise.

Any thoughts???
Pumpel and Spooner both wanted to be on a winning team and Watson got mad about being in trade talks. My opinion they are all whiners. Petes dont need players like that. All three players need to learn team dedication.
