Are we done if we lose Game Five?

Tough game today, i had to work but from what i heard it was a very crappy game. Anyway, if we lose game 5 do you guys think were done? I love this team but i don't know if they have another 2 wins in a row if they go down 3-2 in the series, especially to Washington. It seems like were gassed and slowing down, even Hank. I hope this isn't the end of our season but if it is i'm proud anyway. I personally think we take the series in 6-7 but i'm a tiny bit worried. Thoughts?

When I saw that 'dear in the headlights' look from Boyle after the non-call slash on him, following the same call on Hagelin, this is where I knew we are done.

No far from done. I understand why you would feel real down after a Loss like this, I feel like **** too. We had a poor showing today. We still have home ice advantage, just gotta win the games at home and we win

I agree jskramer, we need to take advantage of that home ice for game 5 and come out hard. It just seems like we are slowing down, but i don't know maybe it's just me? I was working and i kept track of the score on my phone, seen it was 2-2 in the 3rd with about 6 mins left and then i check a few mins later and it's 3-2 Caps, ruined my whole day because this was a big game.

home ice advantage the rest of the way. Rangers still have the edge but winning the next game will be big.

Were we done when losing 3 games to 2 to the Sens? NO. This team has balls and will bounce back

First of all, I find it interesting no one seems to have read the actual question...

Second of all, whoever wins game 5, wins the series

For the people that missed it, i said I THINK we will take this series in 6 or 7, so i'm not doubting but when Washington gets PPs with 5 minutes left in a tied game for game 2 and now game 4, you have to worry because that might not stop and that has been the different in both of their wins against us. Hopefully we stop taking stupid penalties and the refs let the teams play. Washington seems to have gotten into our heads, hope i'm wrong. I still think we outplay the crap out of them tho.

That's my point tho, we did it against Ottawa but do we still have it in us to do it again if we have to against Washington? It just looks like they make us take alot of penalties and distract us from our game.

No, not done. It isn't going to be easy, but we can win this.

One thing is for sure though, if we get knocked out by the Caps again, i will be very VERY angry

I agree, if we do get knocked out by the Caps again, that means another TV remote might get smashed.

Please lock this thread. Most ridiculous topic I've seen in a long time. Its 2-2 heading back to home ice... Seriously, come on man...
