give joel ward a spot for top 3 players of the NYR. if he didn't try to injure hagelin with a tomahawk, we'd be down 3-2 going to trashington.

Until he's called out for a ban.

Again, dude's an obvious troll / Lundqvist hater. Stop paying attention to him and just hope the mods are smart enough to ban his ass.

I remember this happening to us against the Sabres a few years back... man, is it great to be on the other side of this. Gritty win, let's close these guys out on Wednesday.

Love Dave Maloney talking about George McPhee on the postgame show, "He's a great guy, but I hope he has a tee time to set up Thursday morning."

We've got to stop making Holtby look good.

We got lucky yet again(I'll take it).

We had a dominant first period where we were sustaining our forecheck.

We then took the foot off the gas and almost lost the game if it wasn't for some last second heroics.

This was not a well played game by the Rangers. They need to be better, take this as a HUGE opportunity for game 6.

Caps are NOT out of this series by any stretch. The Rangers need to have a more decisive game(like game 1).

Also the "throw everything at the net" strategy is not working against Holtby. They need some crisper plays.

I'm in shock.

Guess this team answered my rhetorical question of how they ended up first in the East.

Battling to the end.

Definitely. They keeps finding ways to win but for the sake of my health and sanity they need to play for a full 60 minutes and find ways to finish.

We make a lot of goalies look good. Rangers are clearly better than both the Sens and Caps, yet their terrible, predictable play in the O zone is allowing opposing defenses make easy blocks and goalies make easy saves.

I hope Jim Hughson and a couple of other un-professional a-holes on CBC cry themselves to sleep tonight.

Way to go Rangers!! You stuck it to the crowd favourites good.

What you on about?? Caps where lucky with that bs 1st goal. Rangers deserved the win. Caps where also lucky with how they got the penalty. Rangers where all over the Caps 3 periods long.

I can't stop thinking on how many guys turned of the telly, went to bed to wake up tomorrow and see a 3-2 Rangers series lol.

I am staying awake now, have to go to work in 2 hours, going to watch the preds game till then

Even Hank said he was already thinking about the next game right before Richards scored.

If we win the cup, remember this game.

I wrote this off as a loss and kept thinking that we were down 3-2 against the Sens, so it wasn't over just yet

But wow...honestly have no words. Rangers showed tremendous heart.

Though at some point, we have to start scoring some ****ing goals, no? We got lucky, but you can't expect us to score with 5 seconds left all the time to tie and win in OT, lol.

We are the best at making backup/rookie goalies look like All Stars.

I constantly defend both the team and the goalie on the main boards. That's because I post here heat of the moment and his soft goals piss me off. I post on the main boards not heat of the moment so I'm more rational.
