philadlephia is where benjamin frankie once tied a key to a cheesesteak in order to prove gravity was a farce. tonight, however, it is the site of the deviled ice hockey squad versus the aeronautically-inclined hockey playing community in what could be the last game of the best of 7 series.
keys to success: like the key that was delicately intertwined with meat and cheese in that frankie nasa nightmare, there will be several keys to deviled squadron success tonight. first? martin brodeur, who played one of the mummies in the smash Brendan Fraser movie ‘Bedazzled’ must use his body and equipment to stop pucks, lest they go past him and count as a puckscore. too many puckscores against, and the deviled ice hockey playingteam will surely fall. coincidentally, by CREATING puckscores, specifically more than the aeronauts, we will be victorious in our quest.
keys to failure: why would we want a key to failure?
lgd. smite those pilots right to hell. goalscore with your birchsticks, and we move on. don’t goalscore with your birchsticks, and we’ll just win the next one. but win. please.

Devils have to come out flying tonight like last game. No letting up now, they're almost at the finish line of this series and to let the Flyers crawl back in would be terrible. Gotta finish off the series tonight, I expect nothing less than their full effort.
the fourth win is always the toughest. it'd be in the devils best interest to finish those guys off b/c letting them hang around is asking for trouble.
I have no confidence in this team... I'm not really ashamed but still.
It would be great to bury the flyers tonight and end it but I expect a pushback and it will be a battle. Marty needs to stand on his head and this thing should be over. Do it?

While I'm very cautiously optimistic(thank you, Dineen), this team has given everything they have for 3 straight games. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but I'm pretty sure everyone is uneasy heading into this one.

They aren't coming all the way back. If anything the Devils win at home on Thursday and that will be it.

Don't say everyone!

Killer instinct. This team better have it if they want to see what they really got.
that's been the one thing this team seems to lack. hopefully that changes tonight. i'm so sick of sitting back after getting a lead. bury the flyers team tonight.
Handshakes tomorrow, followed by a gif. partY, followed by more beer, more beer and then. Maybe..more beer?
Oh yes, if we win tonight, there will definitely be a gif party in order.

Led by Parise and Kovalchuk, our twin towers of power. Both of these guys have been knocked in the past for not showing up when it counts, but they've been doing it in these playoffs. I want them to kick ass tonight and bury the Flyers.
On a vaguely related tangent, I saw this and I immediately thought of Stevens in the box growling at Domi:
