The kings scare me. I have confidence the Coyotes can win when they play their game but I could see this going either way.

And I may hate the Kings at the end of this series but Ill give them respect if they win and not make excuses.

Won't get much work done in the next 2 weeks but glad my wife got a new car. My sons and I will be breaking it in as we go to every game. Love this match up!

Kings are scary but not as much as St. Louis. These two teams match-up very well.

I really like inter-divisional playoff matchups. Whoever loses this series... the division battle between the two from now on will have an extra sting

Good chance there's one in each conference too!

Biased though I am:

Even with all of the mistakes the Kings are still making, while consistantly playing an overall very intelligent and high energy game, it will be tough to match for Phoenix.

That said, PHO has what it takes to do just that and their wild card is Doan.

Goaltending seems about equal but you have to take into account what we did to Luongo, Schneider, and Eliott while Quick is 8-1 and those guys are 1-8.

Those VAN and STL defenses were pretty good, too. It was closer than it sounds.

You never know.

I'm guessing NBC will try to avoid this series like the plague

I'll go with LA in 6 with multiple overtimes in this series

I'm completely biased so I have to say Kings in six. Kings fans are already buying up a bunch of tickets and planning road trips, should be a great atmosphere in Glendale!

I dont know much about Hanzal, is he a fighter? I think Hanzal didn't want to hurt Richards because he knew he was a much bigger player than him. I sort of respected him after that. I dont know though, maybe he's just not good at fighting.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see some afternoon games in this series. By the time this series starts, only 4 teams will be left and they will have to try to get around the 10 PM starts.

These poll results look a lot like the Phx-Nash ones

Serious note: Gonna be one heck of a series! Looking forward to it.

Hanzal isn't a good fighter, but I also think he wasn't really interested in fighting Richards either. So a bit of both, I'd guess.

Hanzal held his own very well vs Richards in LA, I even enjoyed watching that fight on NHL 36 with Mike Richards.

Sitting back, blocking shots, taking zero chances, and waiting for the other team to make a mistake. Does anyone outside Phoenix actually enjoy watching Phoenix play?
I do. I'm a Sharks fan and I want my team to start playing like the Yotes do. Perhaps then they'd be successfull.

Looks like both the Clippers and Lakers will make it to the second round. Staples is so busy this year.

The Kings will have a tougher time getting to the net against Phoenix, but they will find a way.

Let the fur fly!!

Thanks for the insight. It had me wondering, I'm sure Hanzal would of put more effort against a guy close to his size though.
