bankruptcy, best thing ever for this franchise. I know it's been painful, but we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for bankruptcy. I know BK is a system developed in this country to allow buisness a fresh start, but Man! What a restart it was. BK forced the GM to focus on picking up "value" players. These players are the ones contributing big time right now.

Gretzky could also still be our coach if it weren't for the bankruptcy.

...yeah, that's a scary thought.

That's one way of looking at it. A better way might be to say we won by outworking two teams, and to beat LA we will need to outwork them.

Start thinking you are one of the best just sets you up for the fall (see: Canucks, Hawks, Red Wings, Bruins, etc.)

Doan got very serious only moments after winning with Joe. "We're halfway there, feels great, but we've accomplished nothing yet."

I don't think this team is going to forget their hard hats anytime soon under Doan's watch.

Congrats guys, How Tippitt isn't a finalist for the Jack Adams is mind boggling. Good luck against the Kings.

Congrats Coyotes fans, you guys deserve this!

Hopefully the Coyotes stay in Arizona, I always had great respect for the way Maloney and Tippett did things in the desert. Not to mention you guys helped raise the value of our 2nd 1st round pick.

Enjoy it! Go get that cup!

Last few minutes of the game, plus the handshake line & three stars.

It was loud.

I'm still pinching myself.

How do I get it to actually embed the video? I've tried several things and each time it just shows a link, or an empty white box.

That's louder than I would have north americans give credit for

embedding works with the "[YT]" tag, you can view the quote of my post to see how it's done...

Thanks, I can't see the quote part of the video though?

Between the yt tags, should it be the link to the page? To the embed code? I tried both and ended up with nothing.

I believe it's done with the part of the video URL after "watch?v="

for example

[ YT ] zM1PyXTkd9g[ /YT ]

Not sure how the Kings are considered to be Cocky. The media has them favoured now, not the kings themselves. In this playoffs being favoured has been the black kiss of death.

Congrats Yote fans. What an amazing day for the organization. New owner and advancing to the third round!!
I'm a king's fan and I am looking forward to a good rivalry creating pacific division match up. Should be tons of fun.
Best of luck, hope everyone stays healthy.

By the way, didn't Dave Strader leave the Coyotes to join NBC? Why can't we have Strader calling these games? Now that its the conference finals do we get him?

Nashville fan coming in peace. Congratulations on your series win, Phoenix. You out-Predatored us, your goalie showed up our goalie, your top two lines showed up our top two lines, you played better defensively than us. I feel a certain camaraderie with your team, with the whole small-market ownership issues and lack of star players. And I'm happy for Doan, who's stuck with this franchise when it totally sucked...now he's finally getting some payoff for his loyalty. That's a rare thing in pro sports these days, and it's something I doubt the Predators will be seeing with Suter.

Congrats guys. It hurts to be done, but I echo Trotz's post-game handshake words to Doan and to your team as a whole: "Go all the way, man".

I hope so. Emrick seems like a lock for the ECF games, which no thanks anyway.

Not to put the cart before the horse here, but I realized this morning that if the Coyotes make the finals, they'll be playing at least a couple games in either DC, Philly, New York or Newark. All places I could get to pretty easily.
