Preds Fan Here

It's always tough losing in the playoffs.

Smith's performance so far has been outstanding. Something you guys will never forget.

You guys out Predator'd the Predators.

Team defense and insane goaltending won the last two series for you guys. Limiting shots from Weber and also defending his shots tonight were huge in your win. Also your PK won this series. The only time we scored was when Smith was out of the net. Limiting shots at all were huge. Playing team defense was textbook for you guys. You absolutely played like the Preds wanted to and that's what killed us.

It's easy to hate the team you lost against and say negative things about them but that's all they are, words.

Play well and don't forget this run.

Indeed, classy post. It's amazing how every year Predators lose players and still compete for a playoff birth. You guys are an amazing team and beat the Red Wings something we couldn't do for two straight years.

Respect for making this thread.

This series was a lot closer than 4 games to 1 might indicate. I think of it this way: goals were 12-9. We scored 3 goals in 3 games and won 2 of them.

Good series.

Thanks for the post. I really like the Preds and wish them luck in the future. I really hope you guys can re-sign Suter, especially because I'm worried he's going to go straight to Detroit.

And the Coyotes win the first annual Balsillie cup. See you next year Preds.

Preds have my respect, and they have some classy fans. I appreciate that, and wish them and their team well.

Let's plan on doing it every year.

Wish our great moment didn't have to be at the Preds' expense, but I guess that's just how it goes sometimes.

I can't speak for our whole fan base, but I think many of us are happy to be moving on but not happy that your team lost if that makes sense.

Maybe you mean you wish we'd beat the Blues and the Preds had beat the Kings and then that we'd beat the Preds in the WCF???? Or that if we'd beat the Blues and they'd have beat the Kings you'd have settled for us losing to them in the WCF????

Not sure...

Jumping on the Yotes bandwagon. Boedker and OEL are absolute freaks of nature.

Here's to a Yotes-Preds WCF next year!

I was a bit drunk. All I meant was that I don't root against the Preds like I do the Wings. If we don't win they are my second choice.

Only one Preds poster made a fool of himself. The rest of the fanbase, from what I could tell, are top notch. Great team, too. Hard fought series.

Preds fans are great. I really hope they don't get their roster destroyed by free agency.

Good series to the Preds fans and I wish you the best of luck heading into free agency. The Preds are still a team that is knocking on the door, a key move here or there and I have no doubt they will be in the Western Final next playoff. The Preds were a huge upgrade over the Hawks, and obviously they beat the Wings, so I would consider them and the Blues the top tier of the Central. I think the Blues had an overachieving season due to Hitch coming in, so I actually expect the Preds to take the division next year.

Friend of mine who went to game 4 wearing his Yotes gear said the Preds fans were fantastic and respectful. It was just a big party. Kudos to Preds!

'Fool' would be an understatement... but you're right, the Preds fanbase as a whole has been great.

The Predators were the team I picked to make it to the Stanley Cup Final from the West so needless to say I wouldn't have been too upset had they beaten the Coyotes and would definitely have been rooting for them against the kings.

I don't know if this is the video you mentioned, but Fisher is definitely legit.
