We must finish the Caps tomorrow because I have to work Saturday night, which would likely be when Game 7 is.

Same here...working Saturday night. Hoping the Rangers can close it out tomorrow so I don't miss anything

I don't know how anyone could be excited about facing NJ.

They shut down Philly's offense. You know, the one that absolutely destroyed Pittsburgh.

Not to mention Marty's ability to play the puck.

Pittsburgh didn't play defense. Philly didn't dominate Pitt. Pitt dominated itself.

Time to give credit where credit is due - the Devils have had a remarkable season, and Lou has built another excellent team.

All the stuff we said about Marty being old, Kovy being a choker and no shootouts in the playoffs has been proved wrong by nothing more than simple team hockey.

Marty shut up a lot of us with his postseason. Same with Kovy.

The CF will be a great series, but low scoring yet again.

Pitt sure played defense against us. That series definitely had its fair share of bad goals but Philly's offense was firing on all cylinders.

Flyers are the favorite to reach the Final, the Golf Final.

Holmgren continues to put together some impressive lineups year in year out, at least when you read the roster. Not a lot of thought went into the Bryzgalov signing. I wonder who told him to sign a real goalie and do it now.
I know that is not all about goaltending, but still.

I disagree with Kenny saying Brodeur was great. The devils run trap hardcore. That's scrub

well i'd much rather face philly since we owned them and their defense is putrid but in order to get to the cup we have to face tough teams. We have already faced two dangerous teams in ottawa and the caps

Whoever won the Pitt-Philly series wasn't going to advance very far. That was the most atrocious display of goaltending and defense I have ever seen in the playoffs. Pitt just managed to outsuck Philly in that series.

Once Philly faced semi-competent defense and goaltending, they were in for a rude awakening. They were no longer able to score goals at will to overcome Bryz and their Swiss cheese D.

Devils trap by having a relentless fore-check in the offensive zone. Marty wasn't particularly impressive but its not like they sit back and touch upon their roots.

I'd actually rather not face Philly. We beat them 6 consecutive games in the regular season, there was NO way they were going to let us cruise through a playoff series without retribution. I feel like they were "due" to hand us a beating if we played them.

Not to mention we have been screwed time and time again day in day out by the refs each series. This NY team can do it I think

that was a Snider move. desperation after the revolving door of Leighton, Bobrovvsky, and that other guy...

no team in their right mind wants any part of Bryzgalov. I heard some Flyer fans talking about a Luongo swap with Vancouver... lol!

maybe they can trade him to an expansion team with low expectations.
they are definetly not getting their money's worth.

looks like they're stuck!

hahahhahahahha!

If the Rangers advance, we're going to hear non-stop how defensive system is killing the game.
