Murray [Not] Out for Season

Don't think this has been posted, but the new Hockey News reports Brady Murray is lost for the season with Univ ND because of damage to both the ACL & MCL in his right knee.

That has to be an old article because Murray played in both Sioux games this weekend. He was out for several weeks but has since returned. Also, there's nothing on the GFH (Grand Forks Herald) site about an injury to Murray. GFH is ALWAYS the first to break any news affecting the Sioux. Hockey News tends to get all of the NCAA news after the fact.

Yeah unfortunately the beat writers are pretty out of the loop and report well after the fact. he played last weekend. If my memory serves me right, he had a goal.

Don't worry.

Murray says knee OK:

He had 2 goals on Saturday and an assist on Sunday.

It's that damn curse, makes us always think the worst possible thing. Glad it's not true (knock, knock.knock)

Yeah, sorry about that. The paper edition of the Hockey News dated Dec. 14 said he was injured, but it must be wrong.

Yeah I am not a fan of the local coverage here. Matt McHale is the beat writer in for the Hockey News. If you're from LA and get the fish wrap...then you should know what to expect from him or anyother writer out here. DeathFromAbove (Mr. Rainer) and kingsjohn (Mr. Logue) are far better sources to tap. They got the Kings covered like a blanket.
