Sopel Academy of defense school

I just signed up for his defense camp and wondered if anyone else has. I got the email through sask minor hockey. I know some people aren't fans but his d skills are awesome and won Chicago the first round in 2010.

Learning defensive skills from Sopel is like learning to drive via a blind instructor.

There's nothing wrong with an NHL player like Sopel running a hockey camp. The guy's was a legit NHLer for many years and can definitely be a good teacher.

This made me lol. I'm just imagining how many people would show up to Kuba or McCabe's camp.

True that his defensive skills weren't the best in the league but the played at the NHL level and won the Cup! Anyway these kind of hockey schools are always teached by other coaches. Sopel will probably be there to help the other coaches and give some of his advices.

I knew he was in the KHL last year. Anyone knows if he did well over there and if he's under contract for next season?
