Might be a good opportunity to check out Fasth, who I believe will be one of Sweden's goalies.

HA... good luck with that roster!

I cant see how Team Canada does not dominate this tourney. Atleast with their team, they should!!

I like the blue line, but that forward group is pretty thin past the first line.

Name-wise Canada has the best team on paper, at least offense-wise. But I think their greatest weakness will be in goal.

Go Finland!

Other than BRyan, Okposo, Stastny and Pacioretty that is an ugly looking group of forwards. The defense should move the puck really well though and Howard is solid.

Thanks for posting that. Does anybody know how they handle overtime in this tournament? I'm not getting up (or staying up) at two in the morning to watch it, I'll set the DVR.

It's not as bad as the roster that had Ryan Carter in it but it's still pretty ugly.

With Syracuse being eliminated, it's possible that Palmieri could be invited again. I imagine they'll wait to see if some other players pass on their invites before they come calling.

In the group phase, I think it's like a regular season game; forget if they use the ties or shootout.

Thanks. I did some searching. It looks like they use one five minute overtime in the early round(s) followed by a shootout.

Am I the only one that thinks that Eddie Shack looks like Andy Samberg in your avatar?

LOL! I had to google Andy to see who he was. Rest assured my avatar is Eddie although I'm guessing most people here don't know who he is/was.

He had the most points in Finnish Elite League in regular season this year and his team won Silver medals. He was good on the playoffs also. Offensive-minded forward, can score but might be better passing the puck, fast skater, gets knocked of his skates all the time though, small guy.

Here are his stats, http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=12382

Shouldn`t we name it just ''World Championship''? US, Canada, Germany, Norway, Latvia, Sweden, Finland, Australia (?), Switzerland - we have pretty international boards to name it just ''US''. Did i forgot someone?

At least i thought we had. Ok, maybe i`m wrong, but you all got the point.

I do think we have to unite this thread into a worldwide one or we should make another thread.

At this point we don`t have much to talk about anyway.

What is the full list of Ducks players/prospects playing in WJC?

Also would be interesting to see ex-Ducks list.
