The Zombie is a savage. That performance makes the UFC silly for putting together Aldo/Koch which no one cares about.

I agree, this fight should've always been to determine the #1 contender but I guess the UFC wanted to set up an Aldo fight sooner.

Went 10-2, might have been the best I've done all year.

Great main event. Went kind of how I thought it would, to be honest. Like I said earlier in the thread I'm just not sold on Poirer's competition, he made his run against a bunch of second-tier guys.

Cerrone looked great, nice to see him bounce back.

Not bad overall. Fights were good, but the lack of overall relevance made it drop down a notch to me.

Oh hell yes I was!! He has looked phenomenal since dropping to 155. I hope they give him a fighter with a bit of a name next, just to bump him up the ladder. I'd love to see him grapple Guillard to death.

If not, maybe a fIght against a former tuffer that people know, Wiman or Danzig come to mind. I hope they get him on the Montreal card in november.

What a performance by the zombie!!!! Losing that BS decision to Garcia was the best thing to happen to him. Since that loss he has been using all his arsenal instead of just brawling!!

Maybe it's the post fight hype, but I think he can present quite a frw challenges for Aldo. It should be a great fight.

I am also a big TJ Grant fan as he's from my hometown and my girlfriend went to high school with him. I also know people who know TJ very well and train with him. He had a great showing last night, nice to see him string together consecutive victories in the UFC.

I think he found the proper weight class. A lot of the WW's were much bigger than him, thats a tough hill to constantly climb.

Even with that disadvantage it wasn't like he was outclassed, decision losses to Hendricks, stungun & Almeida. Not exactly cans.

He is definitely one of the more underrated fighters on the roster.
