heh, my username is a take on the movie "The Replacements" and I started posting here during the lockout so it made some oddball sense at the time.

Although when its hot chicks asking I try to say its all about nuance, perspective, ones place in the universe, with a hint of reincarnated buddhist slant.

Oh thank god its friday..

I don't like carrying cash either. Also I don't like eating the **** they try to sell to people there.

Yeah, It's not the greatest food in the world. We just bought a pair of large Coke's last night. I'll probably make that payment on my card today, since I'm back at Rexall for Van Halen tonight.

You're right, that does need to change, fast. Your money-management, not so much Rexall's policies. I can help you with that.

Like I said, I'm good for money. I didn't have time to make a card payment before the game, and thought they took debit. Live and learn.

Does anyone know if I buy tickets for Sunday and the game isn't required, how am I refunded? My wife (God bless her) has said she'd like to go to the game for Mother's Day. She's a gem.

Hey, everyone should bring your wives and mothers to the OK game. That'd get a record attendance for sure.

Knowing the Oilers org they will gladly give you a credit for tickets for next season. Or double the credit if you're interested in buying season tickets.

Oh I was going to say that by experience most merch stands I've seen at concerts usually always have a machine for debit.

Hm, maybe something has changed then.

Will still take some cash, but yeah, I should limit my credit use and get that payed up a bit. I'm not awesome with money, but I need to buckle down.

Quick tip: Don't spend what you don't have.

Indeed.

You would think that would be easy. Then you see the money you "have" and stop thinking.

I suppose with the world ending in 7 and a half months it's probably a good idea to spend the majority of your money.

Eh, I make okay money, but I admit, I need to change my spending habits. It's a work in progress.

Hasn't been drafted, but I seriously doubt he's going to play in the NHL. Could probably play in a minor pro league, but he seems a bit small to be a regular NHL grinder. I see him as a CIS guy, or someone who signs a deal in the ECHL.

But you never know.

Bought 2 shirts.

****ing amazing show. Van Halen still puts on a kickass live show. Even Diamond Dave still has it despite struggling in some places. Also, EVH is still a guitar God.

And I met Chris Jericho after the show. What a ****ing night.

I have no idea. I know he's a major fan of old school metal and hard rock, but I didn't think he'd be catching a show in Edmonton. Got a pic with him, it was pretty awesome.

He was probably meeting up with some old Calgary/Hart Dungeon buddies or something.
