Marlies look like the Kings in a lot of ways. They play a real frustrating defensive game but also create a tonne of offensive chances. So this is what it feels like to be a fan of a good team.

What's "entitled" about hoping the AHL finals will be aired on a half-decent network which broadcasts to a sizable market?
Especially considering that if the Marlies make it to the finals, the tv ratings will likely be higher than some small market NHL team's regular season games.

Find someone to pay for it. Since I don't live in Toronto and can't get to watch it in SD or HD seeing you guys whine is quite irritating. Certainly, you can understand.
