It's true, the NHL is pretty much a women's league. It's why the beastly Darren Haydar and Brett Sterling put up such big numbers in the AHL and not the NHL.

Have you seen the Hogs play? It's vicious hockey. Kruger wouldn't stand a chance.

If Kruger can live through a playoff series with Vancouver, I think he can handle AHL hockey. It's such a stupid thought.

Brandon Pirri, at 170lbs (soaking wet) was able to survive in the AHL as a 19-year-old in 2010-11, jumping from the ECAC to the AHL... I think Kruger would be fine.

Pirri is shifty, he can avoid hits like Kane can.

Kruger can't, or he just doesn't chose to since he gets rocked on a nightly basis.

Pirri has nowhere near the agility or "shiftiness" of Kane. It's not close at all.

Kruger doesn't get "rocked" on a nightly basis.. ugh.

I said he was like Kane, I didn't say he was as good at it as Kane.

And Kruger get's rocked A LOT

Kruger at least goes to the net. Haven't seen enough of Pirri to know if he does or not.

Pirri has a shot, and is an excellent playmaker. Kruger does/is not.

I agree with that. it would be nice to see if he has something in the O department. He gets an E for effort but he is in the NHL not pee wees.

bone-in is good for flavor, but depending on the cut it simply takes up too much of the weight. I got a bone-in fillet at Jack Binions at Horse shoe casino, and I walked away still hungry...no bone for me...

....and yes, Kruger stinks...

yeah, I remember the first time I had a Filet Mignon, they put it in front of me and I said "that's it?"

There was this awesome steak place near where I used to live, It was 24/7, amazingly tasty, and CHEAP!

I used to go down and get a 36oz steak, mashed potatoes and caesar salad for $20
