From a Rangers fan

Okay, so I'm here to talk with Blackhawks about a trade I like as a Ranger fan and was wondering if you could see it happening or want it to happen. If not, what could you do to make it a deal. Serious suggestions, I mean look at the numbers.

Proposal

Rangers trade Brandon Dubinsky and Artem Anisimov
Chicago trades Viktor Stalberg and either a 2nd Round pick in 2014 or 2015 or a 3rd rounder.

Keep in mind, Anisimov is only 23 and still has some upside. However, I as a Rangers fan would like to see him go in this deal because Stalberg is cheaper and puts up good numbers for little ice time. Dubinsky just had an off-year but he was a consistent 20+ goal scorer and does everything else in the game very well. Wins faceoffs, kills penalties, fights in the boards. But I would like to see him go simply because we have young kids like Kreider and Hagelin to play on the 2nd line and I'd like to loosen up some cap space to throw some more money at Parise. Again, just looking for some feedback. And I wanted to hear it from some true Blackhawks fans.

Player wise I'd do it but the dollars just don't add up from the Hawks side.

I love Anisimov but Dubinsky's salary is quite the albatross.

for the Salary I wouldn't do it. Plus, with Stalbergs offense last year, who know's what he is capable of with solid ice all season? Maybe give him some PP time?

For me getting Anisimov is completing a lifelong dream, almost.

I say do it. Who knows what Anisimov is capable of?!

gives us a proven center to play #2, and a wildcard in Anisimov.....I would do that deal in a heartbeat...move Frolik or Monty in a seperate deal to absorb the salary

I'd carry both offers to Stan myself if I thought that could help get them done.

On a tricycle.

Dubinski isn't going anywhere from what I've seen... and yes, I'd love to have him, but I want to hold on to Stalberg. Throw in another physical forward, then perhaps.

Would you take Kruger, Frolik and a 1st draft pick for Dubinski and Ansimov? LOL

I think the Rangers value Dubinsky WAY too highly. I can see why Columbus wouldn't want that deal if he was supposed to be the focal point.

Don't get me wrong, Dubinsky's got skill. But his salary is that of a player of much higher caliber than his, like I said, it's an albatross so Frolik would need to be headed your way.

OR:

Add Crawford from our standpoint and they add Biron?

Both these deals are no brainers, no way the Rangers would do it.

$4.2M for a #2 center is right around what the Hawks are looking for.

Where do we sign?

Crawford for Biron?

A goalie who had a Sophomore slump in exchange for a 35 year old career backup?

You know me, I just want to see what Stalberg can do on the team next year. I want to 2C though but I don't think the Rangers do it.

OP = done, no take backs

Take out Anisimov to make it more realistic. I don't see him moved for a 2nd. Value wise, Stalberg = Dubinsky

Just what the Hawks need. Another center that can't win a faceoff to save his life.

Dubinsky actually won about 52& of his faceoffs putting him in the top 20 in centers that took over about 300 faceoffs. And I agree with what most of you said the Rangers would most likely never do it. But I think it helps us out in insane amounts. I would rather include a 3rd team that gives us a 2nd or 3rd rounder and they get Frolik. And yes Dubinsky is valued WAY too high in New York which is why I like this trade A LOT more, I feel like it's right in his value and I love what Stalberg brings without the salary risk. Plus it gives us cap room to get Zach Parise, Chris Kelly, and re-sign maybe one more player or just spend more on Parise. I know they would most likely never do this, but if there's a resounding support from Chicago fans then it's at least something for me to hope and root for

I really doubt the Rangers would do this unless they are looking to salary dump, but I'll take it

Dubinsky would be perfect for us. He's better as LW - a position we need to upgrade - and he could take the draws for Kane or Krüger.

Better than who? Bickell? He isn't better than Sharp and at best he is a lateral move from Stalberg (only with a much higher cap hit).

He knows how to play defense, which is more than Stalberg has ever been able to say.

That makes him worth having.
