I think this will be pretty close, considering KAZ took USA to OT.

Kazakhstan are missing their only NHL player and many of their best KHL players. Unfortunately they'll likely be relegated and we will probably slaughter them tomorrow afternoon (EST).

Canada has players who are capable of shooting the puck in directions other than straight at the Kazakh national hockey federation's symbol on Vitaly Kolesnik's jersey.

The US dominated zone play and put something like 50 shots on goal, but few of them were very good. The US had three players with more than 40 points this year in the NHL. I don't think Canada has a forward with less than 50. They will score, they will score a lot. Canada and the US are joint leaders in goals for in the tournament.

Kazakhstan's offense against the US consisted of one power play goal and an embarrassing breakdown by our 3rd pairing defenders. Without trying to be rude, Canada's defense is kind of crap (relative), but they aren't crappy enough to allow Kazakhstan multiple opportunities. Canada's elite talent in the forward ranks will overwhelm Kazakhstan and they won't be troubled by more than a few pesky Kazakh forays into their zone.

Canada 5-2, but no way this game final creates a 4 goal difference.

The upside Canada always plays up to the opposition, the downside Canada always plays down to the opposition.

Canada's defense is fine and coming around, certainly on par with the U.S defense which has been touted as their strength but from what I have seen is being vastly overrated.

They don't look near as good as people are saying they are. There are a few in that group that I would shudder to have on the ice if I was an American fan because they make bonehead play after bonehead play.

Even Captain America Johnson hurt you more then helped you last game.

He's the kind of guy who will be very good against Canada because the refs will allow him a lot more leeway but once you play the Finlands and Swedens and other top European teams he'll be off to the sin bin more times then we can count.

Why is that? Kazakhstan is not very good and missing many of their best players.

If Canada plays the way it did in periods 2 and 3 against Finland, I see double digits in the forecast. With 1st place in the Group in Canada's control and the motivating factor of what KAZ did to USA yesterday, I think Canada comes out flying.

10-1 Canada

Canada cannot under estimate Kazakhstan.. Especially watching yesterdays game with the USA.

Can Canada slaughter em? possibly.. but who knows... Will Canada "coast" an claim easy win? we'll see... that can be Canadas downfall tonight if they take it "easy"..

Go Canada.

Will be a tight game, Canada will likely have a letdown after their unexpected upset win yesterday. Could go either way but I will say 4-3 Kazakhstan in a shootout.

I hope you're joking.

Easy, clear win for Canada. US dominated their game but couldn't finish, Canada doesn't have that problem.

USA is clearly the better team than Canada though as evidenced by their win earlier in the tournament, Canada will be in tough.

Yes US is indeed better this year when it comes to puck possession, but Canada still has more quality finish so Canada will spend a lot more time in their own end than US did but score a bit more.
