We've had pretty good possession in this period, definitely have more zone time than the Rangers. Rangers generally didn't play well between their goal and their powerplay. I still have faith.
Pierre has talked EXCLUSIVELY about the Rangers. He has done a bench interview with Torts as well. Every word from the announcers is based on the Rangers. I can't take it anymore. I want this team to beat the Rags so I don't have to hear about them anymore.
Someone in the game 6 thread pointed out how the Caps just try to pin the puck to the board instead of moving it, Hendricks just did it there with the only pressure coming from behind and easy forehand pick up and throw it down the ice with 4 seconds left.
Well at least the Rangers showed up to play in the first. Caps refusing to make the simple play and put the puck on net...Rangers are throwing every chance they have at it...

That is our strategy at both ends of the ice. Pin puck to the board, wait for an opponent to come. We neither move the puck nor move with the puck, it's maddening.
I don't think I've ever seen two teams play so tentatively in a postseason game. Caps better wake up. Rags are ripe for the picking. Reach out and take it.
So obvious rangers would come out like this when you saw how pissed torts was last game. We did ok just come out with urgency an bomb shots at lundqvist.
