Yup, I'm not even sure they make the playoffs without him considering Staal was out for most of the season.

McDonagh and Girardi say L o L.
Pretty cocky for a team that beat the #7 and #8 teams in the Eastern conference in 7 games.

If the final is NYR/LA, this will either be the most difficult Stanley Cup ever or the easiest ever (based on seedings). LA beats 1, 2, 3, 1 or NYR beats, 8, 7, 6, 8

The best team moves on. It's not the Rangers fault that Washington was better than the defending champs in a 7 game series.

To be fair, the NHL is pretty even. The 6/7/8 seeds can easily beat the 1/2/3

Kings say HI

If Rangers win the Cup (or even get to the SCF only) = "Thank you Gomez" whenever Habs play at the Garden?

LOL....what an Asinine statement. So LA only gets credit when they beat the #1 and 2 seeds, but "IF THEY HAPPEN" to lose to the Rangers...then they are a "WEAK" 8th seed again huh? Like I said.....Asinine

Defense doesn't win championships, Ryan McDonagh wins championships.

He has been unreal.

Ryan McDonough might very well be the best defenseman left in the playoffs, but you could also make the case for Dan Girardi and Zidlicky has played well of late.

I honestly think the Rangers have the best D core in the league (McDonagh, Girardi, Staal, and Del Zotto) and to think they are missing Sauer and Erixon is still developing.

He also got us Prust as well in a six degrees of separation type of way, when we dealt Higgins.

McDonagh was the best player on the ice tonight. You Ranger scum unfortunately have got a gem on your hands.

I don't think I've ever seen a play like that play on Parise on the breakaway. Came out of nowhere to completely stop a breakaway from one of the best players in the NHL. Single handedly erased him. Then pretty much erased a second breakaway (unless Lundqvist gave up a terrible goal). Unbelievable.
