The treatment of his employees in "his" establishment is even worse than his fruitless bragging about how he has "helped" Latvian hockey. There is a popular myth around the internet that without him, hockey in Latvia would have died. Of course, his hockey system would have died! Which I am willing to accept! We have to destroy it to save it!

That myth is beyond laughable, some people honestly think that when Kirov retires its gonna be armageddon and Latvian hockey will suddenly fall to Div 2A,i almost have to draw parallels with north korean dictator who has made his people believe that wihtout him whole world will collapse.

It will, because Belarus is on 11th place (They got 15 point more then u). So if u beat us u will go up to 11th place if im right that will make it easier for u in qualification

Btw, the Czechs must win against Germany, otherwise we'll be 3rd in the group if we beat Denmark. Czechs should watch out, the Germans might bounce back real hard after that terrible loss.

Ok so lets make a deal. If Norway takes it easy tomorrow, then we will stop calling you "fjeldaber" and allow you into our country and free carlsbergs :-)

If we win over Norway we actually can pass both the Germans and the Latvians.
They will have 6 points each (if they loose to Czech and Sweden) and we can get 7, so instead of ending 13-14 (likely 13 in front of Belarus) we would end as 9-10 (France is ahead of points so it would be 10) and that is a huge plus to our rating.
Better rating, better chance of getting home advantage and easier opponents for olympic qualification.

Always fun to see smaller nations doing a great job in these championships. How boring would it be if only the top 8 played?
