I agree, they really did look like a team that just finished a punishing 7 game series not 48 hours ago befoer the drop of the puck.

The question is, can they somehow recover enough to get their legs back during the series. That'll be tough.

Rangers want to block shots? Fine, take em hard, take em high. The rest of the league better hope the Devils find a way to beat the evil Rangers and their even more evil shotblocking ways, or the league is gonna start screwin with the rules again to open the game up even more.

But yea, if NYR wants to tank their way to a Cup by not playing Hockey, let them have some broken bones and injuries to show for it.

Series is over regardless tho, 6 goalies in net is a likely impossible dragon to slay.
Because all those goals in the Regular Season and Post-Season found a way into the net all by themselves.

I seriously doubt Brodeur is really hoping Rangers players get injured. He was talking about how they need to get pucks through somehow and half jokingly said maybe they'll hurt some guys. It's not like he was putting a bounty on Rangers players.

Marty lets in a few softies per usual and bingo, Rangers manufacture a win without any stretch of sustained offense until most of the game had passed, and a flukey goal already scored.

I hope your boys keep blocking those shots, because there will be a price to pay.
Are you saying that Marty is not a marvelous goalie ? Just an intermediate one ?

devils fans are maddddd. Rangers took the edge in the 1st and 3rd when it mattered, devs were the better team in the second and with hank in net if we outplay a team for 2 of 3 periods the game is over.

Marty isnt the reason we lost. He stared down Henrik until the third.

You think? Aside from that save on Staal, it looked like typical Rangers passing on great shooting opportunities, shooting wide, or flutter shots.

I thought Marty looked very shaky handling the puck.

Lundqvist had much more difficult save opportunities despite all the shot-blocking complaints.

Stop the whining and let the players handle this. My God, it's embarrassing.

Devils can't get their shots past shin pads and they think they can get the puck past KING HENRIK?!?!

Marty was aggressively challengingshooters leaving very tiny spaces to aim at.
