Rangers fan I work with says he believe the Devils might chase Stay puft once in the series. He's not too confident in his team. I was completely shocked he said that.
I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown right now. I've been playing games for hours, trying to get my mind off of tonight's game. I hadn't discovered hockey yet when the Devils played the Rangers in 1994, so I'm really unprepared for this.
Kovy don't even sound Russian or European at all when he's yelling!
He's like the most non European sounding player from Europe aside from Nick Lidstrom. Lidstrom though don't even sound Swedish or European at all even when he talks.
Pete should announce he's starting the 4th line just to piss Torts off.
I was thinking this morning that DeBoer should start the 4th line.
Not to pizz Torts off (a butterfly could pizz torts off), but just to send a statement that the Devils are a 4 line team, that there's high confidence in the 4th-line, and to start the game with some energy.

It really wouldn't bother me if he did. Our fourth line is better than theirs.

I hope we do get him pulled. A nice barrage of goals to rattle his confidence would be excellent.

The Devils fourth line, Powered by Gio2.0.
This might actually be a good idea.
Imagine the 4th line on the other side trying to pick a fight right off the draw, but can't and end up giving away a first shift goal to Carter... again
1. dont take stupid infractions
2. forecheck, forecheck, forecheck
3. shoot, shoot, shoot
4.play solid defense
5. hit hard
we have 4 lines that can all play physical. these ranger defensemen are definitely not 100%. two 7 game rounds with a lot of OT sprinkled in has to have taken a toll on them especially when a guy like Bickel is has like 4 minutes avg ice time.
