lol all you took from that post was the intensity part? Ok, remove that part and they have still only lost 6 times in the last 24 games. Or does that not impress you?

Hmm right now I'm only thinking about winning the SC.

I doubt the Rangers will beat us. They had to play 7 games 2x already and I've seen a lot of them. I think they are the worst team of the last four remaining.

I fear the Devils, because they quite easily beat the Kings in the regular season. Phoenix is Phoenix, tough as nails.

Maybe if your definition of "entertaining" is the two most boring teams in the NHL...

Only thing more boring than that is watching your team finish at the bottom of the barrel 3 seasons in a row.

It sucks to lose, yes, but at least the Jets are fun to watch. I'd rather be a fan of an exciting team that loses than a team that wins, but is about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Daniel Sedin alone could have changed the complexion of that series. Add in a healthy Kesler and it could have gone 7, with Vancouver maybe even winning.

The Canucks certainly need to address some issues (depth scoring, adding another top four defenseman) but they shouldn't make any rash decisions this off-season. Just because they lost in the first round, doesn't mean they're not a threat to return to the Finals next year.

This happens all the time. A #7 or 8 seed that plays like gangbusters and ends up losing in the Final. See the '02 Canes, '03 Ducks, the '04 Flames, the '06 Oilers.

And this year that role is being played by the LA Kings.

The Kings will win the Cup within the next few years. But right now they're a young #8 seed and have dealt with zero adversity.

Good thing you enjoy losing I guess.

Zero adversity? This team is being led by the same players (Brown, Kopitar, Doughty, Quick) that have been with the Kings through all the losing and the tough playoff exits the last two seasons against Vancouver and San Jose.

The Kings are not your typical 8 seed. They were one or two wins from finishing third and were a completely different team after Sutter took over and the addition of Carter.

A lot of the "experts" viewed the Kings as favorites going into this round to not only beat Phoenix but to win the Cup. Can you say the same about any of those teams?

An 8 seed is an 8 seed is an 8 seed. Check the history... teams that squeak into the playoffs don't win the whole thing.

The Kings will get their Cup. But they're going to have to go through some serious heartbreak first. That's the way it works.

Whoever comes out of the West will steamroll the East. It's been that way since the start of the playoffs too. They just play better hockey in the Western Conference, period.

Way too early to tell, they only beat Phoenix by 1 yesterday and they could easily lose a few to NJ or NYR IF they even make it to the finals.

If the Kings win tomorrow, it's over for the Yotes in 4. Jersey will stomp out the Rags in 6 games and then anything can happen, but I can see the final going at least 6 games maybe 7.

The opportunity is there, but I doubt it will become a reality. I just want the Kings to make the finals at this point.

If anything, their heartbreak was not winning with ~10 seasons with Gretzky...

I do think the Kings will win the Cup, seeing how they've manhandled two of the favorites, and how great they've looked since the deadline, they're the favorites, I think. They've dominated, but they won't break the record.
