Brodeur on Lundqvist

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=6...id=DL|NHL|home

http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/hoc...medium=twitter

"He's a Vezina candidate. He's the one that's been -- I don't know -- he's unbelievable. He is lately. He's kind of the top goalie in the league right now," Brodeur said

Good from him, but I'm sure he's getting tired of being asked the same thing every time the Rangers play the Devils

Don't fool yourself, Fatty is just posturing. He hates Hank.

Remember this is the same guy who has such a massive ego he throws his own teammates under the bus when they lose.

Even in complimenting someone, he's got to add these things in there.

I'd rather not hear from Fat Boy, aka. Uncle Daddy than see these tempered compliments.

Hey fat boy, just shut your mouth and go find another one of your wife's sister to screw.

POS

During the reg. Season, he also said that he's getting a lot of help from his defense. So which one is it, uncle Daddy?

when you read the whole article it comes across as him being a bit of a d-bag, playing some head games and trying to heap pressure on hank.

I remember him kind of making fun of Lundqvist name when he was a rookie.

LOL yeah, as usual a bunch of sideways compliments from martybrodeur. I get the feeling despite holding all the records and being a certain hall of famer, he's also REALLY nervous that this series can add to the legacy that one thing that will define his career is his absolutely brutal record against Hank.

Fatso couldn't beat one King - his boyhood idol - in 2001 and is nervous about being surpassed about another this year. /thread

I don't think it was as a rookie..think it was 2 years later. He called him weird.

Screw him.

I remember name.

He said something to a reporter 'oh what's his name over there? Lundq... Lund something' 'How do you say his name?'

Paraphrasing there.

Wasn't that at the NHL awards when Lundqvist was one of the Vezina nominees and Broduer won it, and Broduer complained that Lundqvist didn't congratulate him or something?

He also said this:

"you play long enough, you can make the stats read whatever you want."

glad he has finally come to terms with his career.
