Fixed the link to the proper page this time, Hall isn't on either team. Hall is eligible to play (he's a '93, I had him mixed up with Camara and Scheifele's linemate Beyers, the OA) but didn't make it although he probably should have got to play a game. Hall centres his own line and only plays with Camara and Scheifele on the powerplay and the centres are pretty strong on both teams. Camara and Scheifele need a right winger for the game and Griffith is available.

Don't know what I was looking at Swear I saw him on the first roster ... might have seen Zach Mitchell and read Zach Hall.

A couple of photos of Matt Grzelcyk against Providence last week. He's pretty fast, I wouldn't mind seeing more of him.

Do you care if I use the first one as my avatar?

Didn't know you were a BU fanboy

Now the bias in regard to Cohen makes sense.

haha I was kidding about Cohen he sucks the only reason he was good was because he played with Shattenkirk. But Tommy Cross is just as bad.

No way. I mean, I'm just basing this on what I saw of each in college--and I saw a lot. Cross started out with some injury concerns, but by his final two years, he was terrific defensively and increased his offensive production. The question with him is always gonna be his skating due to the knee injuries. He has the rest of the package.

TSNBobMcKenzie: Camara is BOS prospect who plays for Barrie Colts, starting to look a lot like a poor man's Milan Lucic. 7th in OHL scoring, 11 G in 13 GP.

I always thought Cross was pretty good, in my limited exposure to him. Nothing flashy, but overall very solid. Haven't seen him this year yet, but based on his NCAA play, not sure how you could say he sucked...unless you were a blatant BC hater.

I'm hoping to get a good look at Grzelcyk Saturday night. Pulling for him to do well, but for BU as a team to get their ***** handed to them by UMass

****, I love it. For a guy who a lot of experts agreed was a reach, he's sure doing his part early in the year to prove our scouts right.

Hope he can keep it up.

Meh, Lucic is a huge stretch IMO even as a poor man's version... Not sure Camara intimidates anyone near what Milan did and he's also in this FOURTH season (playing with Scheifele)... Lucic was only in year 2 when he dominated.

Big stretch for sure, but nice to see him getting some positive press.

Camara's only 18 though, same age Lucic was when he broke out. . .

Camara is 19, the age Lucic was his first year in the NHL although Camara is a young 19 having his birthday in early September.

Oh, Lucic (poor man or otherwise) is a HUGE stretch.

A potential sound contributor on the bottom two lines, chipping in with decent occasional offense and a pain in the ass to play against? That didn't seem like a reasonable expectation just a few short months ago. Camara's scoring thus far however, makes one a little more hopeful.

The comp I've always used for Camara is Chris Neil.

Not sure what Neil was like in Juniors, but not sure he ever got his a$$ kicked as much as Camara?

He's a good teammate and completely willing, but like Campbell, he gets beat up a lot in the videos I have seen?

I think its a bit of a hybrid. He has the physicality of a chris neil but the fighting prowess of greg campbell

I don't know either, but I was talking more about style and role than fighting prowess. Neil is a legitimate 3rd liner who hits everything and will fight anyone. Camara could be too.

You're right- lucic's real big jump was cracking the NHL straight out of junior. But if we're just going to look at their junior careers- their breakout season is roughly at the same age ( less than a full calendar year).

I don't think anyone's expecting lucic's total game from camara- but it sure is encouraging to see the kid make serious progress. At the very least it inspires some confidence in the teams scouting, that they could identify this offense in him before he proved it on the ice.

Camara is more of a middleweight. When Lucic made the team at 19, he was already 220+. Don't think Camara will be nearly as intimidating as Lucic at less than 200 lbs (He will probably fill out 10 or so more lbs)...His absolute ceiling is more of a...David Clarkson?

Can't imagine what would be said if his stats were going in another direction.

I was surprised when I saw the scoring leaders the other day. I didn't think of anything but that he was a Bruins pick. Didn't think = didn't make up expectations.

He is what he is not everybody becomes Clark Gillies or who ever.
