HAHA. You have been drinking too much Kool Aid. The talent level is not even close. The fresh Bruins last year in the playoffs would have dusted this Rangers team in 4. The Bruins were wasted this year. It always happens to the champs.
They beat far superior teams. Not the clutch and grab, interfere, shot block Rangers. Real teams. Congratulations, you got a nice weak draw.
Enjoy it while you can chief. You are being the Devils, lol.
So by your logic, it's acceptable for the reigning Cup champs to bow out in the first round the year after they win? And not only is it acceptable, but they are inherently better than the teams in the Conference finals. RADICAL.
Wow. That was over the line by a hair. Maybe even less. Can't believe the linesman got that correct. I thought he kept it in originally.

Look at the goal differential last year for the Bruins- when they lost they lost by a goal. When they won, they won like 8-1. That team would eviscerate the Rangers. Not taking anything away, they are a hard working team. Good for them. Don't have any delusions that they are a great team. They were dominated almost every game and won by a goal. Very admirable.
Del Zotto non call leads directly to Rangers goal luck has been the difference in this game.
I think this is by far the best post of the thread. It kind of reminds me of the other thread where the Rangers supposedly have never faced an offensive force like the Devils yet in the playoffs. The goal is not only a result of a bad call, but a NON-CALL. I wonder how this relates to the Devils lack of scoring though??
