Canada needs to stop being so cute and just fire on net.
This goalie plays in the Belorussian league; he's not used to facing world class shooters.

Yeah - that's it....

BLR plays with no honour, either. Goon it up - nothing to lose, eh?

Yeh, throwing a linesman down, cross checking a player after a goal. How could a penalty be called!

What a shot by O'Reilly.

Also, why'd they put Quincey on this team?
He just sucks.

How many shots has Skinner not been able to score on from a foot inside the crease in the tournament so far? I can think of at least 3 or 4.

How can it be boarding when the player is that far away from the boards? It was a hit from behind for sure, though. At least it was Luke Schenn and not someone of more importance.

Andrei's hit was boarding for sure. This was a tap. But still - unnecessary at this stage of the game. Smarten up Schenn!

Boarding is usually when they are a scary distance from the boards that they can be hurt from. That was def boarding, 5 min internation, prob just a 2 in NHL.

Is it just me or are they playing the NHL 12 soundtrack at these games?

I don't think they know what boarding is, based on the three calls in this game. Typical bizarre officiating....

I hope they dont suspend Methot just because the player got cut, unfortunate incident but he was bent halfway and put himself in position to be overpowered by the bigger and stronger Methot.

As far as I know you get automatically a one game suspension after game misconducts, so Schenn and Methot couldn't play in the QF.
No guarantee for that though.

I think they changed that rule, it takes three game misconducts to get a one game suspension. Or was that only in parts of the IIHF?
