Might be a good idea to get a time-out, no shame in that!

Nah. Our players would step up in the next game and stop being so lazy in the third.

Yeah. That's hockey.

Sometimes you have to step up, even if it costs you minutes. Try to spark the team, get something going.

It's not that common in international hockey, but you will see it on occasion. And it does have an effect. A fresh example: Carkner vs Boyle in the ECQF.

Well this is the WC and not NHL. An important player like Hansen should know better. If u drop ur gloves and goes mad, then u know its gonna be a match penalty.

Hey guys, let's not be cocky here. YES, Hansen #36 is an idiot, but still...

On the other side I'm pretty happy that our game against Germany wasn't just a coincidence.

I'm fully aware of the differences between the tournaments, I even mentioned that in my post. And still it could be worth it, sending a message. I'm sure his team mates will be more than fine with what he did.

Also, I think we can allow ourselves to somewhat more gracious in victory. When we demolish teams like Lativa, Germany and Denmark, I see no reason to rub it in. Not saying we should be acting all humble, but there's no need to gloat.

The idiot was the guy hitting Frans Nielsen in the back, which sparked Hansen.

Did you guys hear coach Roy? He asked the refs not to allow Denmark to start dirty stuff since we are going to a QF, and they agreed

Well. At least we did not lose 12-4.

Sorry for the fighting and raging. You get fired up, when watching hockey at times....even against our neighbours.

Good luck in the QF, if you make it - will be cheering for you guys!

Jesus christ Tollefsen what a p***y. Biggest guy out there, boards Nielsen with a cross check to the back, then hits Eller two seconds after he released the puck and then he goes hiding behind the refs like they were his mummy. No wonder he didn't make it in the NHL.

Good on Jannik to step up when refs refuse to call the obvious. That is necessary before someone gets seriously injured by those baboons.

Too much fighting in this one. All Scandinavian differences should be settled with a bottle of aquavit and some rotten fish. (Just let me leave the house before the can is opened)
