I disagree, I haven't seen a team get away with as much interference since the Devils of pre lockout.

No kidding. So many people are so quick to forget that. The Devils are getting beat by their own system and its quite entertaining.

That appears to be more PPs for NJ than for LA.

Seriously. Quoted for emphasis. Not exactly the same system, but the amount of interference by the Devils in the postseason is absurd. They're getting a taste of it in this series.

What's the over/under on number of 'Flyers fans, are you mad?' threads on the main boards and our board?

Typically everbody counts powerplays. It's usually what is not called that affects the way the game is played. LA has picked off every player dumping the puck in. The lack of calls for interference have altered the games in much the same way the left wing lock did.

This was the major change in post lockout. To allow playmaking and more scoring. Not to say the Devils would have won but the games would have been more about making plays and less about the interference that keeps people from getting involved in hockey.

I plan on meeting those with iron fists. So hopefully none.

That's what I meant. Both teams have been incredibly effective at toeing the line when it comes to obstruction. The Kings have just been better at it. It's awesome to watch after Devil's fans were so arrogant about how their team never played a system that relied on picks and holding up opposing forwards.

And it needs to be said that, when you take a 5-min major in the Stanley Cup finals, you go all-out to kill it off. As much as it was a questionable call, that was pretty embarrassing to give up 3 goals on that PP.

Plus, even though the linesman should have been called for interference, the Devils essentially stopped playing even though Brodeur stopped the shot on that play. And the primary rule is that you keep playing until you hear the whistle.

The Devils play the same exact way. It has been stated that the fact that the Devils are getting a heavy dose of exactly how they play is what makes this enjoyable.

Both teams have done it, and neither have been called for it. I don't understand why you're insinuating that the Kings are getting away with more of it. If you want to argue major versus minor on the board, then you might have a point, but both teams have been equally guilty of a fair amount of obstruction.

CBC said no one has ever scored a hatty in a Cup clinching game. Crazy.
