Guess which one is called a choker.
Yeah but Doan is like Toews-lite in the intangibles department.

Franzen gets a longer leash because he had 13 goals in 18 games when the Red Wings raised the Cup and 12 goals in 23 games when the Wings came up one game short. He's been non existent since aside from one hellish game 4 in Detroit. You may want to venture over to the Detroit boards and realize their patience with their disappearing boy wonder is at an end as well.

Marleau is an easy target. Franzen is an overrated player to begin with and has a cup so he gets a pass from the media. Doan is always going to get a pass because he's a media darling. Doan is a great complimentary player who was the only face of a long struggling franchise.

Doan has to be one of the most overrated players in the NHL. Only cracked 30 goals twice, only hit 70 points twice, is very average defensively, pulls dirty **** like that cheap shot on Benn, but apparently he's a superstar and a class act because he stayed with the Coyotes. Maybe he just didn't want to move. He's a glorified 20 goal scorer and it's ridiculous how much everyone loves him.

HA HA!

Sunday's Game 4 between the Coyotes and Kings drew a 1.1 overnight, down 15% from last year's Game 4 between the Canucks and Sharks, which was a 2-1 series, as opposed to the 3-0 lead the Kings had heading in. The game drew a series high 2.7 in Los Angeles." [Puck The Media]

Crazy, huh? I love watching one of the last hybrid goalies go out with a bang.

So how bout that Kovalchuk. Parise has a 3 point game only to tie Kovy in goals while still having less overall points.

If Devils make it to the Cup finals, I think we can scratch Parise off the free-agent list.

Considering his most likely destination if he doesn't re-sign with the Devils and our minimal chances of signing him, I think I'd rather him stay with NJ.

Come on. Parise was never coming here. One series doesn't change that.

More points in the playoffs than most of the Sharks players!

No, what I meant is that I believe he'll sign with the Devils if they make it to the finals. Ive never penciled Parise in our lineup

I want NYR-LA final for the ratings sake, especially since both of the LA NBA teams are out (yay).

When he got suspended for the length of the playoffs it was a loophole for me to cheer for Phx

Haha agreed! I don't even care if 1 player that I hate has their name on the cup...it's better than having a whole team's worth in LA. Not to mention, if the Yotes some how come back and win it all, Torres can't look in the mirror and say "yeah, I won the Stanley Cup."
