And in Grade 9, I said the same thing. Hard for me to keep the same logic when studying could save my family several thousand dollars in scholarship money.

Staying motivated when this is all I need to keep my scholarship average at the percentile I want:

Advanced Functions: 50%
Data Management: 50%
Law & Business Management: Combination of 160% (80% average)

That's averaging about 2 plate appearances PER INNING.

But yeah, it was like:

-Walk
-Stolen Base
-Single
-Walk

-Double
-Walk
-Single

ETC, ETC, ETC.
Just saw this..

I love/hate facing pitcher that bad.

I have a lot of power in my bat, so I can usually get a decent hit from brutal pitchers, but it makes the game so boring. It must suck to be the guy who got out.

Junior National (Grade 8/9 Lower Level) is the worst.

The field gets a lot bigger from the year before but the kids suck just as much.

Does anyone ever hit homers in that level?

@Silf (lol), here are the requirements *updated* for a Lounger Regularmus.

To achieve the status of Lounger Regularmus, you need to achieve 20 posts in consecutive OT lounges.
To lose your status of Lounger Regularmus, you need to achieve less than 20 posts in 3 consecutive OT lounges.

Field's too big.

I've only seen one regular homer in Junior or Big League, because the fences go 320 or something to the poles (10 feet or so shorter than Rogers Centre), so it's tough.

Junior National is more of a question if they can get it out of the infield. Anything above the infielder is rare and impressive.

That is pretty far. I have no idea how far the field I usually play goes.

By the end of last season, I was getting about two extra base hits per game. Really find my stride right at the end of the season for some reason.

How does your league work?

In Ottawa, we have mandatory spring league (Start of May-End of June) that is like house league, but everyone plays in it.

Then, we have Summer Competitive (End of June-End of August) that is the competitive.

This is if you don't play on a travel team when you're older (Ottawa Knights, Ottawa Canadiens)

I played on the for the competitive team when I was younger, but they started to lose players really quickly, and now they can't even put a team on the field. They legit lost their team.

The non-competitive league goes from end of May, to the middle of August, and you play 2-3 times a week. It is actually decent baseball. You get the odd terrible player but they're spread throughout the league pretty well. There is about 9 team, and you play all over Peterborough.

That's a better system.

The reason we can't do it that way is there is not enough interest to field both house league and competitive teams.

Where's the HF Times CH asks? June 1st 2013

I kind of miss playing competitive, but house is pretty fun. A lot more chill, and I'm usually one of the better players on my team as opposed to middle of the pack.

#Selfish

I'm so excited for June 1st. Going to mark it on my calender now.

It better be. If it's not, I'm infracting you for moderator abuse, spam, and trolling. Then you will be renamed MightyManked* and we shall all be happier for it.

Smeddy will get off with a warning for copyright infringement after he buckles under the pressure and confesses to everything.

For whatever reason, this reminds me of when I was looking through my infractions the other day and I came across "Copyright Abuse - Warning". Didn't remember that I taunted a moderator to give me another infraction after receiving the initial one.
