They are just exhausted. two nights off will help.

Well it's obvious they need finishers and he's not one. Gaborik is supposed to be one and he's been pathetically soft. It's sad.

This script has been played over and over again.

Score 3+ goals and win rather convincingly in Game 1.

Lose 3-2 in Game 2.

After they win a game, there is ZERO sense of urgency.

The Devils knew they had to win this game and it showed early in the 3rd.

That's the problem with this team. Inability to match the other teams desperation.

I thought they coasted in gm 6 vs Caps. Knowing they had an extra game.

Again ZERO killer instinct.

If Callahan is injured, he has no business playing 26 mins a game in regulation.

Richards wasn't getting it done at all tonight. Looked bad on offense, passed the puck too quickly and turned it over, wasn't winning face offs.

He'll bounce back.

First of all, which play are you talking about? You gave zero specifics. Also, The system is not designed to leave guys wide open in front of the net with no stick on them. Each goal was a play where someone was not where they should've been.

It's crazy how much all the series so far resemble themselves. Ofcourse, they flipped Games 5, 6 against the Caps, but very similar.

I've just about had it with him along with NBC. When you see how guys give it there all and he is not able or willing to play with grit and give it his all, you just have to say enough is enough. To much is focused on his goal scoring. How many goals has he scored. If you gave Ruff that amount of ice time he'd wind up with that many goals.

We need to capitalize on key faceoffs...We have to win faceoffs in the Devils zone...We have to fire shots from the blue line against the Devils and create screens for Broduer...What he doesnt see makes it easier to score

My one complaint is this: (rather then Gaborik and Bickle, of course)

It seems liek this team is sleep walking in the first period sometimes, and then when it wakes up and shows some unreal passing, shooting, and shot blocking, and they take the lead and start to dominate the game, they lose their sense of urgency. It happened at the end of the 2nd and first half of the 3rd tonight.

In the end, Hank will pull our balls out of the fire like he always does. Nobody should be worried.

Torts doesn't want to do that because it makes us vulnerable near our net in case of turnovers. Personally, I would like to see our center fall back to the front of the net and allow the Dman to skate above the hashmark. It won't happen though.

Torts also LOVES the stretch pass from the corner.

Exactly..This is exactly why i say he's Worthless! What message dos it send to the rest of the team when a P...y like Gabby can come out and play only when he wants to! Trade this puke!!

It drives me crazy that they lose stick battles most of the time.

Very true. Callahan's effort is great, but they really, really need more production from him.

Clear the puck...Clear the puck...Clear the puck...Clear the puck...

...Actually, on second thought, give it to the Devils point men instead...

You dont bench one of the only scoring options you have in a tie game or down by a goal in the 3rd period.

Bag skate him in practice. Whisper a "********" in his ear. You dont bench a guy at that stage. You just dont.

It's a stupid, selfish move.

Exactly. Our Dmen CAN carry the puck but this system won't allow it to happen.

I agree, even though Richards has won a lot of face offs, and the numbers look even. When have you seen the rangers actually get a faceoff when it matters (dis-including game 5 against caps). I did not see a clean win in the last 4 minutes of this game, that is for sure.
