One thing I've noticed about Kreider is that he is extremely good at finding an open d-man when he is down near the red line at the boards. He can find them so perfectly and they usually have all the time in the world to just skate in. It's something in his game I've noticed quite apparently as I haven't seen anyone else on our team (Richards a few times) really do it.
Yes, the 5 minutes of ice time given to Bickel is the sole reason why we won't win a Stanley Cup. Come on now.
No it's the over using of the other guys that will hurt us. That means more minutes for Staal, McD, and Girardi, and even MDZ because Bickel is a liability. That leads to fatigue and fatigue leads to mistakes
i dont blame bickel...but i hope torts either talks to him or sits him cuz he was letting clarkson get under his skin and that won't bode well if it continues

The death of this team will either be the inability to score and the inability to capitalize on the odd man rush.
I'm honestly a bit surprised that the reaction on here is this negative. At the end of the day, the Rangers lost due to two deflection goals.
I thought that this was one of the best games of the post season in terms of in-zone offensive pressure and generating attack off the rush.
Definitely had a few overly lackadaisical moments with the puck that hurt. Also credit Marty he made some big saves.
Finally, while I am in no way blaming the loss on this, it is absolutely absurd the amount of holding and interference the Devils got away with tonight. I really don't want to hear any more griping about the officiating from that side of the Hudson.

Is it just me or are the devils the masters of subtle hooking, holding and interference? Exactly what made them so effective during the trap days...
Not just you - and not so subtle either. I was screaming it at the refs first, then at Eddie & Pierre (call it out, you ****s) and then finally just at the TV (it didn't listen to me either).
Since we're on the subject, you also need to add stick holding and goalie interference to your list.

It's the usual suspects who lose their minds whenever this team loses a game in the playoffs. To be honest, you could probably just substitute any losing post-game thread, and get the same results you're seeing in this thread.
Chico Resch is an embarrassment to broadcasters everywhere. What an unbelievable homer and MartyBrodeur dickrider.
Omg it was such an embarrassment. MSG should be ashamed of themselves as well for being as rich as they are and feel the need to combine the 2 biggest rivals a post game show. I thought homer danyeko was bad but damn.
Tough one to lose. Get Bickel off this team and they're still in ok shape for the rest of the series.
i say put in Erixon. maybe he can help the Powerplay.... i dont see why it cant hurt...Erixon would add another threat from the blueline but Eminger is better defensively..maybe Erixon has improved. hasnt watched him in the AHL. hopefully he is a bit stronger...get Erixon in the lineup

Maybe for the Devils. What game were you watching? Aside from the first 10 minutes or so of the 2nd period the Rangers were dominated.
Whichever team is wins it seems will be nothing but cannon fodder for the Kings anyway. They're on a different level from either team. This series is like amateur hour compared to the Kings.
