Good news is I don't think LA can get much worse than they were the first 15 minutes. Game being tied is a good sign. Even though LA had some okay chances.. I felt as if they were getting a bit out played. They had some solid defense and goaltending to save them. Like the good old days of the regular season.

0-0 after 1 period. It took a while for the Kings to get going. but the last 8 minutes were good.

Was it because of that play at the blueline where he got to cute with the puck and give it it up?

The Kings may not have scored and the period may have been a bit sloppy for both clubs, but they still generated the best quality scoring chances in the first. The puck seems to be bouncing and on its edge quite a bit and its noticeable that some players are having difficulties handling the puck due to those extra bounces or the puck not laying flat.

I feel bad for the fans that pay good money to watch the team at home.
The kings are beasts on the road. At home, they fumble pucks, turn it over at the blueline and have an atrocious PP.
Looked better towards the end, but they need to be much better in the second period.
40 minutes to score at least one more goal than the coyotes.

No score is fine, you had to figure the Yotes wouldn't just roll over and die.

and then gave it away. I re-watched that play and there was no reason for him to do that spin at our blueline which caused a turnover. If he carries it forward nothing happens. You know he got an earfull by Sutter, and got benched the final shift
