That is what arsenal does best. But you can tell there was a lack of chemistry between the players. Just a matter of time.

Arsenal are a feeder club for transferring RVP to Manchester United, but I think they got fairly good business done for Song and likely Walcott soon. Song and Walcott are massively overrated. To be fair RVP has his own risks, albeit not in terms of on-field play.

To be fair two of the three were tipped balls.

I thought he looked a little rusty early on but man, that two minute drill was awesome to watch...except of course for Tamme's drop in the endzone.

These replacement officials are worse in person than they are on TV.

On a different note, I think everyone that owned a Tebow jersey traded them in for Mannings and Von Miller. I think I saw maybe 5 Tebows compared to almost every other person last year.

Both of the picks yesterday were his fault.

I'll be concerned if it continues into the regular season. He's barely played in a year and a half, so there was going to be issues.

On another note, Derek Wolfe looks real good.

Not at all concerned about the Broncos. Manning has played all of 2 quarters and 1 series in over a year, there is going to be some rust ie: tipped balls and over-throws etc.

It was good that he played the entire 1st half for this reason, so that he can work off some the rust. He needs to play a full 3 quarters in the 3rd preseason game.

For all the bad that happened in the 1st half yesterday (the INTs, the fumble etc.) we still out played their 1st stringers and were leading 10-9 at half and probably should have been 14-9 because Tamme can't hold onto a wide open touchdown that hit him in the numbers. Sure we got blown out in the 2nd half because Pete Carroll is an ass and played the 2nd half like it was the Super bowl, by blitzing a rookie QB every single play. But in the long run who cares it was a pre-season game. Who cares if their 2nd and 3rd string blows out our 2nd and 3rd string.

I remember a 4 year stretch in Indy when Manning was the QB where they went to 2 Super bowls but their combined pre-season record was like 1-15 or 0-16, something stupid bad. Further proving the point that pre-season is a waste of time except for some borderline players to showcase their stuff to try to make a team.

Hell I get nervous when a team goes undefeated in the preseason.

yeah Kings of the preseason are usually the teams that want to win some games before they lose them all in the regular season

That two minute drill my Manning was great. Too bad Tamme dropped that TD pass.

But yes, on the whole, the trade appears to be favorable to the Red Sox, and that does make me happy.

Obviously, it hurts to lose Adrian in this deal, but it becomes necessary to include him in order to rid themselves of Crawford's contract and Beckett's drama.

And it's not like they're just salary dumps, apparently that De La Rosa is "the real deal" according to Dodgers fans, and Webster is their #2 prospect, and I've seen a couple of Dodgers fans are even saying that Sands has good potential.

It obviously remains to be seen if the potential is reached by the prospects, but it's certainly given MLB fans something to talk about.

I'm happy just because we got rid of Beckett, Crawford and $261mil in payroll (and Dice-K's contract is expiring). Now there's just Lackey left to punt as far away as possible.

The Outlaws won the MLL semifinal Saturday and will play Sunday (today) for the MLL Championship against Chesapeake. It will be on ESPN2+3 live at 1 Mountain Time.

Did anyone else catch the game today? Because it was insane. Brendan Mundorf, our best player and league MVP, was hurt Friday in practice and couldn't play. The Outlaws came out looking terrible and were eventually down 12-3 with 11:32 left in the third. And then the Outlaws pitched a shutout the rest of the game and scored 10 straight to win 13-12. It was the biggest playoff comeback in league history. It's archived on ESPN3 if anyone wants to give it a look.

In any case, I'm rooting for them. Nobody knows what Mundorf's status is, but we really need him. The Outlaws have made the playoffs every year of their existence and made three title games, but they never win it all. I hope this is the year.

Watching DT throw that linebacker off him was pretty hilarious.

Manning looks pretty good throwing to his right today.

Lackey , how bad was that signature for the Red Sox , not even the shadow that he once was with LA , plus ( like every Sox players, lately ) he's always injured

Crawford and lackey were bad moves by Theo Epstein, that's for sure. I remember an interview when he left for the Cubs , he was saying that they felt the pressure to signe Lackey as this Shiny new toy that everybody wanted , insted of sticking to the Philosophy that Boston always had toward player's evaluation.

Adam Weber really does have some decent physical tools. I'd like to see him play with some firsts.

What's the dumbest part of the Lackey signing was the fact that he always sucked at FP.

Manning had a beast of a game.

Too bad the same couldn't be said for the Broncos' second and third units.

I know that I shouldn't be hopeful, but I am somewhat hopeful about the rockies future. Hitting at least. They have some guys who can rake, and if nothing else we'll see a lot of crooked numbers at coors over the next few years.

I'm trying not to get too excited about David Dahl, but he looks great. Our Mike Trout

I love our position players, but I don't have much hope for our pitchers.
