Cargo pretty much just sealed his spot in the ASG tonight...barring injury of course. Question is does reputation get Tulo in too. SS is a pretty shallow position in the NL.

Furcal and Castro will be up for it. Tulo needs to get his **** together. Hopefully he's not hurt

Oh, no doubt Castro is probably gonna start simply based on the fact he's a Cub and he'll get tons of votes.
The back up and maybe "3rd stringer" (if Larussa takes 3 shortstops) is gonna be between Furcal, Tulo and maybe Jose Reyes. Not saying Tulo deserves to go. The 8 errors alone show he doesn't deserve it. But rep counts for this stuff and he's got a better rep than the others.
I like this Dexter Fowler. Tulo is 3rd in BA, tied for 1st in HR, 2nd in RBI, 2nd in OBP, 1 in slugging, and 2nd for OPS for NL SS. He'll be there if his injury isn't serious.

Fowler is frustrating, but he's a dynamic player when he is on. I love the fact that every time he seems to get a hit it's for extra bases, I hate the fact that he doesn't get that many hits.
Just like the Red Sox, every starter aside from Doubront has an ERA over 4.00, apsolutely terrible, Buchholz is flat out atrocious (7.19 ERA).
Good to hear that at least CarGo is doing fine. Did they try to play Tulo anywhere else than at SS and how's Scutaro doing?
Yeah, but the Red Sox are only in the bottom 1/3 in pitching. The Rockies are last. It's THAT bad.
Tulo is SS only.
Scutaro is meh. Better than the blackhole that is Jonathan Herrera offensively, and he's kind of a wash defensively, but he's pretty meh all the way around.

At least he's meh in Denver, he was pretty bad defensively in Boston.
And considering Tulo, if he's struggling that much playing SS defensively, why not try him at 3B or in the outfield? I'm just wondering, I'm not all that familiar with Rox lineup depth.

It's a one off kind of thing. He's a stud normally and he's been better of late. He was just a bit off beat his first month+ of the season.
Tulo should stay at short. That's just crazy to move him. While he's had some errors, he is the active #1 leader (career) in Range Factor and Fielding % at the SS position and top 3 in almost every other meaningful category.
He'll come around. For as many errors as Tulo's made, he's made about 5x as many plays that an average shortstop would not even get to.
